    Hello Forgehub community! I am Squidkake and I made my first Big Team Battle map. THis map is truly a keeper. I played it with friends and I found out it plays wonderfully for CTF. It also plays nicely with Stockpile or Team Snipers. Here is the weapon list:
    • 4 DMRs
    • 1 Grenade Launcher
    • 2 Sniper Rifles
    • 2 Spartan Lasers
    • 3 Needle Rifles
    • 1 Needler
    • 2 Falcons (one for each side)
    • 1 Banshee (spawns in the middle)

  2. I have to say, this map looks pretty cool. The "Arched Pathway" as I call it, is what really caught my attention. But anyways, is there an "Inside" of the base? Because this map seems to have a lack of pathways. From what I see in the pictures, it looks like you have quite some budget left... If you do, I suggest you add an "Actual" base to each side. But from the pictures it looks pretty good.

    This map looks neatly crafted, and with some good ideas, such as making a building completely out of decorative pieces. Bravo for that, most would use wall coliseums for a big building. Im not quite sure you can go in it yet, but i'll download and give it a spin.

    Your map seems a little open, but I'll give it a Dl. I'm designing my first BTB map right now, so I know the transition is hard to get used to.

    I've looked at it. It's pretty cool, but part of the building is open without a kill boundary to keep anyone out, so i'm not sure if you forgot to block it off, or what. It's a pretty cool map, but as it's been said before, maybe bases should be placed considering you have 2500$ leftover.
    I do like the layout, and the fact someone finally uses a falcon.

    As mentioned before, you left the map too open, if someone manages to gain control of both falcons, the other side is screwed unless they are great shots with the splaser.On the positive side though, the map seems decently balanced, and it is ascetically pleasing so good job with that. If you added more to the map it would probably be a great map.

    Overall, I think this map needs a lot of work. Air battle seems like it would work decent, but there is not a lot of cover for the falcons and banshies. If air battle is your main feature, I would suggest a tower or two to provide more cover for the vehicles. The kill zone below should also be lowered and have a soft kill zone above it to warn of your impending death. Also, the shade turrets seemed somewhat useless with all of the power weapons, as I was able to destroy both with the rockets in about 10 seconds. Even a few rocks could also spruce up the spawning areas for each team, which are wildly open and easy to snipe from. Other spawns are also open, like many on the bridges. It's usually good to group spawns in safer areas were teams can spawn together and plan attack routes. It is a good start, but you need to put a lot more into the map with your $2600 budget, especially some more flat areas or a larger bridge in the middle for ground vehicles.

    I agree that the map is a little open, but I like the "limited cover" concept. If that is what floats your boaat though I will add more cover and buildings and post a v2

    Limited cover will mean endless respawning with 3 air vehicles, 2 snipers, and 2 splazors. There is a certain amount of cover that is necassary, not optional for a competetive map.
