    Two Headed War Turtle


    Hello Forge hub community and welcome to my third map post. Allow me to introduce to you my latest and greatest map, Two Headed War Turtle. It's a semi-symmetrical map built near the island in the sea in the shape of a Giant two headed turtle hence the name. The outer sides of the shell and the flippers are off limits with soft kill barriers. I say it's semi-symmetrical because buildings can't be mirrored. GRR lol. That makes the line of sight just a lil different which my friend said is a good thing. This map has three levels with multiple ways up and down. There are two teleporters, each at the bottom of their respective bases. however they only spawn in ffa matches. There is a lift at the center on one side of the map that sends you to the
    top where rockets spawn. The map supports all gametypes except racing and invasion. I feel that this map plays all gametypes balanced. Assymetrical objectives spawn different than symmetrical for added variety to gameplay. I haven't been able to test my map out with anybody so if anyone would try it out for me I would appreciate it. As well any criticism would be great. If i get good feedback I will make an MLG version. Thanks for your time until next time fellow forgers. Peace!

    • Needle Rifle 4 total, 2 clips, 50 sec. respawn
    • Plasma Rifle 2 total, 50 sec. respawn
    • Plasma Pistol 2 total, 50 sec. respawn
    • Needler 2 total, 2 clips, 50 sec. respawn
    • Plasma Grenades 8 total, 25 sec. respawn
    • Health packs 6 total, 50 sec. respawn
    • Initial Spawns 42 total, 6 red, 6 blue, 10 neutral, 3 for every other color,
    • neutral respawns 99

    This map is cool, I like how u r mixing aesthetics with competitive gameplay. Created some nice battle areas too.

    In the pic with the flag in it, one of the windows looks on wrong side, but you may have ment for it to be like that. But that is nothing really and obviously wont effect gameplay.

    Nice work, will check your other maps out.

    Good looking map I agree good idea mixing aesthetics with real game play! Not the best looking turtle but you did the best that you could with what you were given

    Thanks danger. Yeah I had contemplated making a more of a shell look for the turtle shell in the beggining but scratched it because of possible lag issues. My nickname use to be turtle way back in the day and so I was inspired to make a giant turtle map lol

    Nice map some good thought like the turtle idea, BUT the video?! Do we really need a commentary and wonky video? Set your camera straight, fly through and done. Would of been ccol if your could of kept the back almost in shape of a shell with structures. Perhaps, but then again you wouldnt notice during gameplay, nore the fact your on/in a turtle.

    Sorry some good some negative. Joys of feedback, keep on keeping on.

    Naw your good man and YES the video was kinda err cuz I was recording it with my iPhone. It's my fault! It took me like 10 hours to prep this post so when I recorded the video I just rushed. My apologies. Yeah you only know it's a turtle when you look thru the initial load out camera. Thanks for the feedback Mabolsa :)

    Looks like a very unique combination of asthetics and competivity. I'll give it a download because it looks interesting (and kind of resembles my turtle.....yeah, he's got two heads!).

    O wait your saying my battlefield doesn't belong in the halo universe lmao but halo fights across the galaxies so anything is possible. Still think that a'tuin world wouod be awsome to imitate but too late! Lol

    Thanks cj and symmetry was my objective. Believe me I had to make sacrifices of certain symmetrical things in order to make the map as a whole more symmetrical. Darn buildings! Wish I could hit a mirror/flip button option when holding an object. O well forge isn't perfect lol
