About SkyballSkyball is a variant of Grifball with a small amount of twists. In Skyball players are on two teams of four (Blue Team, and Red Team) and the players are equipped with a Golf Club, and an Energy Sword. The goal of the game is for players to use the jetpacks, and weapons they have within their use and score a goal in the enemies goal. The weapons have infinite ammo, and the jetpacks have unlimited use to even out gameplay and still keep it exciting. The game has five rounds, and every time a bomb is blown up in a goal the round ends, and one point is awarded to that team. A kill zone has been added on the ground so players cannot land on the ground and run around, the aim of the game is for players to stay in the air and fly around. Skyball StadiumThe main playing ground for Skyball takes place on Skyball Stadium. A large room with three platforms. These platforms consist of the Blue Spawn, and Red Spawn on either side, and the bomb spawn which is in the middle of the two platforms. As mentioned above the ground is off-limits and any player who tries getting low enough will ultimately die. The map uses the Next Gen special effect and some lighting to show which base is which. Screenshots ConclusionThis is one of my first maps in Halo Reach that I have finished. Comments, and criticisms would be greatly appreciated. I'm constantly thinking of new things to add for a Version 2, so if anyone has any suggestions that I should do for Version 2 please post.
just as a heads up you may want to put a preview thumbnail up because that way it'll attract more people (which means more downloads.) but back on topic, i think the map looks very cool, but there has been many Grifball varients on this site. also, Bungie's releasing the official Grifball to matchmaking tuesday just as a heads up
