This is my latest Invasion map, Checkpoint. It's a fast-paced, intense, and absolutely crazy Invasion experience in which Spartans and Elites are thrown into a single room to throw down and try to shut the other team down within minutes. A six-player game gets pretty crazy, but it's best played with sixteen... Trust me, it's a real blast (grenade pun intended). Cool. But the Loadouts are unbalanced. Operator is too weak and Demolitions is too strong. Same for Zealot and Saboteur. A lot of other Loadouts need changing too.
Weird, it's the first time I've heard that. I asked about loadouts the other day and I'd heard they were balanced. Have you played this yet or are you basing this criticism on pure observation?
The Spartan Loadouts ARE balanced versus the Elite ones, but that is because verybody chosses the strongest ones so you don't notice. What happens when a Zealot meets a Grenadier? The Zealot gets his ass blown up. And what about Demolitions vs Stalker? Eh? The Zealot and Stalker Loadouts need to be beefed up seriously. Warrior and Zealot and Operator and Marksman need to be swapped. Or do you want a Phase 2 Loadout be stronger than a Phase 3 Loadout thus forcing people to choose only the other Loadouts? End of rant. But the Map is pretty good.
That was no rant, it was a grievance. As chaotic as the map is with 16 people, nobody lives long enough to do much. It's not a map to be taken seriously in any respect, it's just for having a hectic experience.
I really love this map man. Very original concept, built well, and fun. I love the idea of checkpoints. There are a few imbalances here and there but overall well done.
AH! I played this with you a few days ago. The chaos great fun! I still would like to see some landmines/ fusion coils and maybe a phase 3 banshee just to throw everything for a mindbending twist. I've never had more fun dying!
I'll throw that in right after I finish adding the Scorpion and Scarab tanks hahahaha.... I'd add landmines, but players dying without clear cause makes said players sad players EDIT: Maybe you're in one of the screenshots, Randy. Check your recent screenshots of you haha...
