Map Preview: Indoor Fight Arena: Onyx

This is a remake of one of my favorite Day of Defeat: Source maps, Orange Indoor Arena. I am about half finished with it. I tried to make to spacing work based on the images I took from the game, but the field of view is different between games so I had to make some judgments. See for yourself:

For those unfamiliar with Orange maps: these maps are designed around sets of territories across the map not unlike Conquest in halo. To win, one team must control all five territories, with the center territory requiring two soldiers to capture. Orange maps are known for their high kill counts and epic tug of war gameplay. Indoor Arena is no exception. Snipers are deadly, a well placed mg can control the map, and losing the buildings near the center can spell disaster. Naturally, spawn camping becomes a problem, but is usually the fault of the team being camped: a subpar team can easily keep the enemy away from their spawn territory, which is moderately protected by barriers and ramped inclines. I am still working on a gametype that is halo friendly that will capture this kind of gameplay. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Thanks for taking a look at the map!

I see a couple things that could easily be changed to resemble the original map. You can use sandbags to represent the.. sandbags. And then there's a way to actually make ladders in game, I'll see if I can get a link up for you.

    Link here!

Thanks for the ladder link. I've been messing with it for a few days already and can't seem to get it to work. Any how, the sandbags in reach don't really work that great because they are too low and look weird when stacked. I'll keep working on the ladders though :)
