    I would like to hear what people think about this. It seems to me that so many custom maps that require mainly placed pieces for the map are so gray that it is annoying. Too sterile is what I think I am trying to say. In halo 3 at least the parts had a earthy natural feel to it.

    Its sucks when I see a awesome map that bums me out when I play on it because everything blends together.

    Just looking to see what you guys feel about this.

    Yeah, but Forerunner stuff does. I don't find it too much of a problem to be honest.

    And Sandbox was worse.

    The one good thing about Sandbox is all the (dull boring brown) building blocks looked right when you stuck them side by side. It didn't matter if it was a double box or some crazy arch--everything blended really well.

    Maybe it's just me, but I have a hard time getting different Forerunner blocks to look like they blend/flow/look right when they're connected. :\

    @petetheduck

    Yeah, i have the same problem. even with identical blocks. the lighting changes on one and they look completely out of place.
