Emulating the interior of a Covenant warship, Spartan training simulator #7 will prepare soldiers for alien combat.
    2-8 players

So Here's a map that I'm quite proud of. It's been in the works for quite a while and has undergone rigorous testing and may revisions.

The story behind the map is -
As war escalates between humans and the Covenant, it's only a matter of time before battles will be fought on their turf - in their ships. Using gathered intelligence, this training simulator was designed to help prepare for this inevitable scenario.

This is a symmetrical, 2 base map comprised of 3 levels. The topmost level is that of the main base areas, a middle level which is the most dangerous to hang out in, and a lower level with power weapons and lifts that will take you back to the middle level.

Watch your radar on the middle and lowest levels as they are directly on top of one another. This map is great for team and/or FFA slayer modes, but is also equally effective for flag, headhunter, stockpile, KOTH and territory game types.

As always, feedback and comments are welcome.

Nice looking map. I like how the juicy effect brings out the colours in your walkway and rooms. Looks nicely later out. A weapon list would help to get more downloads. Will let u know how it plays out when I get on live next.

This map looks great. I agree with timmypanic, as the juicy filter is a great effect for this kind of map. Also, you should put up a weapons list.
But as for emulating a covenant ship, it seems like putting in a little more purple would help give it that feeling, but besides that, the aesthetics look great, and the forging looks excellent.
It looks like it should play pretty well, but I'll have to try it first.

this level looks great and plays pretty good. It has a distinct feel to it (besides the juicy special fx) but I don't know it is a covenant feel. Maybe more covenant barriers and such would help. Im sorta curious about the bubble shields. Any particular reason you chose to include them?

Thanks for your comments. More purple? Well if we had more forge choices that would be easier to pull off. When your only choice is gray pieces... I did have purple lighting originally but thought that red and blue were more important considering the fact the map is perfectly symmetrical, and it helps to let you know where you are when you respawn.

Used all the barriers thew game would allow.

Bubble shields are there because the map is very close quarters and will come in handy especially when playing objective modes.

Maybe I'll add additional plasma batteries... maybe.

As for the weapons list. I'll update that soon. Weapons are appropriate though for the size and layout of the map.

what i meant was that even though blue and red permeate throughout the map, the still dont quite make the purple glowy vibe of a covenant ship. That being said, I dont have any suggestions on how to make it any better, since as you said, there are no more barriers and there is no purple light.

All that aside, still a very appealing map to look at and play on. Sorry if I'm coming off as critical, because I love the map.
