I have been looking all around this and other forging sites and have found some good and some not-so-good MK 64 remakes. I wanted to remake one of my favorite maps, Banshee Boardwalk to as close to the original as possible. Here's a mouseover image to help you see the resemblance to the original track. [mouseoverimage=http://i1032.photobucket.com/albums/a402/MyHaloVids/MK64%20Banshee%20Boardwalk/reach_12159669_Full-1.jpg]http://i1032.photobucket.com/albums/a402/MyHaloVids/MK64%20Banshee%20Boardwalk/BansheeBoardwalk-1.png[/mouseoverimage] Since that picture was taken I have added/fixed a few things. First, I added the 'star' hole in the building and, Second, fixed some scaling issues. Also, for some reason, the actual picture of the map is distorted when I uploaded it and I didn't had enough time to fix it. Let me know what you guys think and what you think I could add, but I tell you that I don't have any building block for walls left.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't there ghosts on that map? Have you done anything to represent them? Like maybe a propane tank flying across the map every now and then?
Yes, there were ghosts and a big fish that would jump over the map, but no, I havn't done anything to represent them. I still have quite some money left so I could implement something like that.
maybe propane tanks that spawn with a tip in a kill ball for ghosts, and a soccer/golf/kill ball that grav lifts in an arc over the track for a fish?
