What is Intersection 11? Intersection 11 is a project that my friend and I have been developing and working on over the past few days. The idea was to create a race map in a city themed area that could also be used for Slayer and CTF gametypes. Why Intersection 11? The map gets the intersection part of its name because of the four -way jump that serves as the focal point in the center of the map. 11 is the number of categories of gametypes that can be played on the map. Now that that's out of the way, let's take a closer look at the map. Map Overview The Garage This is the starting point for the race gametype. In other gametypes, this will be where the mongooses and warthog spawn. Sniper Tower This is one of the two sniper towers on the map. The sniper rifles don't spawn instantly and have limited ammo, so use them wisely. The tower is also equipped with a machine gun turret. The Base Inside the bases you will find some primary weapons, a grenade launcher, and some assorted crates. There is a ramp that leads to the objectives in the corner of the base as well as the loadout camera for team games. The Intersection This is it. The Intersection. Awesome.
