Hideout An abandoned hideout for Covenant hierarchy soon became a UNSC combat training facility. Description Hideout is a small symmetrical map that supports 2-16 players. I would recommend 8v8 Crazy King for maximum chaos and confusion. While it is classified as a "small" map, it has 5 levels. That means there are plenty of routes and lots of tricky jumps that can be very advantageous if executed correctly. Hideout originally began as a simple two story layout (one underwater and one above), and slowly over time it evolved into the monster that it is now. There is a custom gametype for this map below that removes the jetpack, since there were complaints that it was unfair. Gametypes- Headhunter, Infection, KOTH, Oddball, OVERBOARD!, Slayer, Stockpile, Team Slayer (custom-no jetpack) Weapons- 4 DMRs, 4 Magnums, 4 Plasma Rifles, 3 Plasma Pistols, 2 NRs, 2 ARs, 1 Sniper Rifle, 1 Energy Sword, 1 Grenade Launcher, 1 Plasma Repeater Photos Evil clown^ Gameplay Photos Hideout Hideout Slayer (no jetpack)
It has an interesting look to it but I'm having a hard time getting an overall idea of the layout. You may want to try to take some pics from the top down or bottom up that captures just how many levels there are. Also have you considered removing the underwater part and just making that a watery death trap? It would make the risk of falling from any level more interesting. Also, totally underwater areas seem to hinder the overall gameplay IMO. You definitely have a first in your map with the evil clown! Overall nice map.
I think its more interesting when you expect death while falling towards the water and end up in an alien chamber filled with weapons and grenades. The layout of the map is very simple and easy to grasp; it is difficult to provide an overall layout picture because the two middle levels are almost completely covered. If you played a game on it, you might reconsider the comment about underwater areas because it really makes the map much better.
