    ::UPDATE:: Updated this map and changed the download link - this map has been through two revisions not published and this is what I believe to be the final work, I sure do wish this had been my entry to forgetacular and not the peice of crap I actually submitted. Anyways I will have pictures up of the changes ASAP.

    Map Story: Fusion Lab was meant for the manufactoring of fusion cores for propulsion systems on space cruisers until the components destabilized leading to the abandomnet of the facility.


    Notes:
    I am made this map to enter as the symmetric team slayer into forgetacular. So please download it take a look and tell me what you think. I was going to make this with a kill ball above but that seems to have been done quite a lot so I wanted to look more original - also the red and blue lights were supposed to be active in the lift (destabilized components :) ) but because Normal gravity doesn't apply to them they were always stuck in random spots when I reloaded the map so I had to abandon that idea and place them at static points in phased physics.

    PS anyone who plays this or has any feedback please post it as I'm trying to finalize it for the contest, my GT is dishonestpirate and I can get enough people to play test with 2v2 or 4v4 I would be really happy. Thanks.

    Fusion Lab V3

    Here are the changes made to the map since v1

    Center Before

    I added columns and tunnels to add cover, before the middle was so open there was too many lines of sight and there was barely any advantage to going up top which really was not my intent - this brings more reward to moving upwards.

    I really hated the way you had to run so far just to get inside the bases - I added an extra ramp to ease the transition from below to inside the bases.

    I wanted more flow paths so I added extra ramps to second level

    Rocket lift / Middle to 3rd level

    I removed the shield door lift becasue I never really liked it and sometimes you would get stuck in the levels of it.

    Nuetral Corners Before

    These corners were no mans land so I added some corner cover and hallway - this has encouraged people to use the area for a retreat.

    On the bottom of this map I had a large negative space that was rarely ever used, so I removed it creating a hallway with a murderhole in the middle

    Top Of Bases

    The top of the bases were very lame looking and I was never happy with the way they played or looked so I removed them and added a small catwalk above this gave a very much more smooth look. Also you cant tell from the pictures but I recessed the walls in the base because I protruded them to far and walking through was like snaking through a maze, Also a grav lift to take you to the catwalks from the base was added.


    As you can see I have made a lot of changes to this map and have worked really hard I hope you can give the V3 a try.
