The Atrium Hey guys and welcome to The Atrium It is a symmetrical map designed for 8 player slayer, but it also works with KOTH and juggernaut, and it was made in about 2 hours by me, Randombean28 and KFC Mania97 (he's a bit wierd) After comments that my maps were a bit bland i decided to create a map that not only plays well but also looks great Here are some screenshots showing the different areas of the map This is the Atrium This is the upper left corridoor (The upper right corridoor is identical) This is the lower left corridoor(The lower right corridoor is identical) This is the upper balcony that looks down on the atrium The map cant realy be fully described in pictures, so download it now and see for yourself! This looks like an overall fun map, however the upper "Atrium" looks a bit sloppy, maybe you could clean it up more by using more simple pieces or layout, In fact the top almost looks like patchwork, but hey I mean, its one of your first map(s) so maybe make a V2 later. All in the best ~ Ociee
thanks guys for the positive feedback and yeah the top section was a problem because we ran out of pretty much everything and had to improvise i do plan to release a neatened version however so keep a look out
Try and replace the rocket with another heavy weapon, because the reload time will get people killed if they have it; BUT the ICBM effect (I came up with that, because it has a massive blast radius and splash damage area) will be dominating in the corridors. Also, if there isn't a shotgun on the map, I would put one, so you can balance out the Energy Sword. Otherwise, it seems to be a very well crafted map, it seems that if you can adapt this for a large amount of gametypes, you can totally get far with this map. 8/10
