Hello Forge Hub! Welcome to my first thread, which has been a long time coming as I have been commenting on posts for months now. This is one of my best and newest maps designed for Team Slayer and Team CTF. From the start, I wanted to make a map that made you feel like you were in a real life building. Eventually I decided on a casino, and after much research and pictures of Los Vegas, I found a design that worked and Highroller was born! There are 3 paths between the bases (more if you count the lobby or behind the main stage) giving multiple paths for the flag to be taken through. Weapons include: 1-Grenade Launcher-5 shots total 2-sniper rifles-no spare clips 1-sword 4-DMR's 2-Needle Rifles 2-Magnums 1-Spiker 2-Assault Rifles plus several frags and plasma grenades -Thanks to T0astman for inspiring me to make this with your map Subsystem (Which I DL'd and loved!) and to Deaddude56 for suffering a cerebral hemmorage after seeing my map for the first time. -Also, this map has only been tested by 2 to 3 people in FFA slayer, so contact me if you are interested in helping me test it. I would absolutely love to play a 4 vs. 4 match on here, team slayer or multi-flag. All criticism of this map is greatly appreciated, do not hold back, I am open to changes and praise of course! Please Check this out and DL if you have room! -P.S.- as this is my first post there may be something wrong. If anything is off just tell me how to fix it! Edit: The Die has been removed and replaced with the tip of a strut, which looks kind of cool. Some walls have been straitened and 2 railings replaced with walls. Still need help testing! Edit 2: snipers moved to bases and shotgun moved to old sniper location. a second path has been made between the resteraunt (orange, second floor) and bar (purple second floor) by the staircase, which may be replaced with an elevator. The plasma grenades on the tables are now on the floor due to explosive DMR fights. New pics coming soon!
Aesthetics are really good. Can't gauge the size of the map based off the pics but it seems pretty big. I'll give it a DL and let you know how it goes. Also, just a nitpick: not a huge fan of the die. Personally, it immediately breaks the illusion.
Thanks for Downloading! Tell me how the map plays after you test it. I plan to replace the dice with another part and also make the fountain look better, as the water moves too much and makes it look empty sometimes. The map looks bigger than it is, but it is still big enough to make DMR's useful and assault rifles not overpowering.
