Abomination V2

    This map here is called Abomination V2. This is an updated version, Lot's more colors to better identify where you are and some little bug fixes. Please let me know if you spot anything else or if you have any more ideas to go to this map. I first started making this map with the intent of having the same look and feel of Onslaught while still making it it's own map, And I'm very happy with the outcome. I added to one of the sides an interesting idea. If you go through the lifts you will be brought to a second level, although this does make the map much bigger, there's no need to threat because the second level has a 10 second time frame. Which is barely enough time follow the blue path railing, grab the rockets, go down the rabbit hole and out through the door safe and sound. I originally created this path because I wanted rockets, but i wanted them out of the way and somewhat difficult to get, a bit of a race if you think about it. never the less this different type of field created some interesting situations during game play. I created many entrances to both bases some big and obvious, others small and surprising. For instance one side of both bases has a drop in the corner, should you need a quick escape. There's two bridges going from bases to base, one is high bridge the other is low bridge. It's a fun well rounded map. I look forward to the criticism :^)

    4.Rockets (difficult to get to)
    5.Frag grenade
    6.Plasma grenade
    (I didn't want too many weapons because Onslught didn't have many, if anything i have more, lol)

    may I ask What the count down thing? Do you like die if you don't make it?

    Of course you can, i set the entire upper area as a soft kill zone. The moment you lift through the one way shield the 10 sec timer starts counting, so yes. If ten sec. are up you DIE! It's really not hard to do, but you will need sprint to accomplish it. And keep in mind this is for rockets. However, I am almost finished with a new version where the lifts and top area are not included, Although i liked the idea it ultimately steered too far from Onslaught than my liking. This version should be out soon, I'll probably put the finishing touches on it either tonight or tomorrow.

    I like the idea of incorporating gadgetry. But Its risky, it could take away from gameplay. I gunna check this out.

    But does it reset?

    Ill tell you what i think after I play on it.

    Thanks, i wanted to try something different. i kinda felt the same way while making the map. You can see i did use the 10 sec idea in my other map Snakebite, That one i'm pretty happy with how the 10 sec worked. Although i'm currently working on a new version of that too, lol. I liked the second level so much, i think, simply because it was different and it didn't take up necessary space, but it just didn't feel right for this map. I think i may use it for a different map some other time. Still working some stuff out with the new version, should be done soon. Can't wait to hear your input.

    Hello, nice map here, I like how your maps break from the norm adding some fun and interesting features. I like how it is a challenge to get to rockets. Should be interesting.
    Wouldnt jet pack also have an advantage getting rockets ? or are there kill zones?

    Some places do seem open and look plain, but I dont know if that is intended for frame rate and the low weapon count.
    Will download and check it out more. Looking forward to v3

    Thanks, ya i was really a fan of the upper level, but it just didn't seem to work for the game type i was going for, so i've taken that whole thing out and and i tossed in some bridges from the middle to the side bridges and done a lot of beautifying, I'm really happy with how it turned out, All i have left with V3 is a video that i'm trying to figure out how to get on my computer, i'm new to that, lol. But it should be done any day now. I think this could be something big, at least i hope so with how much dang time i put in, lol. I'd love to get your input though before hand, because I've made a number of changes that drastically changed the flow of the level. So it'd be good to have some one nitpic it a bit.
