MLG 2010 Pro's Choice Awards Pistola takes 7 of 17 awards, the most for any one player by far, including: -Longest Lasting Player -Most Unpredictable Player -Most Clutch Player -Best BR -Best Close Range Combat -Best Pure Slayer -Best Overall Player There's some heated discussion on the MLG Forums regarding Roy's potential for some of these awards, especially Best Overall. I disagree with that particular one pretty strongly, here's my post from the thread over there detailing why. (I know this is technically H3 but I'm posting it here cause H3 discussion is dead and it's current MLG news, if a mod disagrees then feel free to move it and apologies)
PacmanianDevil is a dumbass XD. I don't really think you could say "You must be so stupid" here without explaining why and get away with it. Oh well. Good luck in the MLG forums, and just try and remember how much better Forgehub is than that craphole. : )
I agree with all of these, however I didn't realize that Pistola was the longest lasting player? That surprises me. Also, I may be a noob for asking this, are they ever moving ALL of this MLG to Reach? Like, this is H3 news, but when is H3 MLG going to die completely, if ever?
Pistola kicked ass and took names. Like he easily deserved; that kid is the ****. I really am intrigued by all of these people who are claiming that Roy is a better player, especially the kid who says that everyone has short term memories and only like Pistola because he has done good recently. I understand that having chemistry suddenly makes you LOOK a hundred times better, but it has little effect on how you actually play. If you go back and watch gameplay from the past two years, Pistola is always in the right place, always looking for his teamates, always setting up to control the map all while racking up a stupid amount of kills.
There are a few real gems who make posting over there worth it, but on the whole I have to admit that I find it pretty soul destroying trying to engage in even a semi serious discussion over there and see page after page of 2 sentence splurges rather than discursive posts. 90% of posts over there are knee jerk responses to the OP, completely oblivious to even the idea of actually engaging with other posters and getting discussion going. 'Look at OP, post vague thoughts, move on and forget', that seems to be the common practice, and sadly those who don't do this are often only arguing instead, and even more sadly I have to include myself in this latter bracket often enough. That's just a name (based on the Stride sponsorship and their tag line) for the Pro other Pros deem the hardest to kill. I can't think that there will be anything H3 Pro Circuit related after this, they're basicaly tying up the end of the '10 season with all the follow up awards etc. After this it'll be Reach all the way, though things are going to be pretty quiet on Pro Circuit news until the offseason ends tbh. Wholeheartedly agree with every word you just posted. He does everything and does it amazingly well.
