Here's the final version of Watering Hole. Versions one and two were much-liked, and I'm hoping through all of the work and changes based on user criticism, this version turns out even better. Enjoy! Here are some pictures for those who never played the other two versions: EDIT: Supported Gametypes fixed
Looks like an interesting mix of Building and machine, maybe some more aesthetics would be nice, but good map. A question: Can someone jetpack on top of the rock formations with a power weapon?
No they cannot. A soft kill barrier is up there to prevent just such unfairness. And you asked for some updated pictures I believed? There are plenty of more features, those are just old pictures. I haven't taken new ones as I just got LIVE yesterday again. I JUST took new ones. EDIT: The new pictures have replaced the ones in the first post. Thanks to ociee for pointing that out.
Alright, good solid map then it that case, like I said some more aesthetics would be nice but, it seems like a well designed map, I'll download. EDIT: Oh and I see it works for all game types good job!
Haha thanks, I consider it finalized (that or I'm burnt out between 6 versions) but any criticisms are always welcomed. Hit my up on XBL and I'd be more than willing to play a game with you on the map (and test yours as well ^^).
The game play might make up for the way the map looks, but in my opinion the pieces and aesthetics used to construct the map clash with each other. It lacks cohesiveness. But like I said, the game play may be exceptional and make up for that. I'll have to check it out.
You're the only one I've heard who says the rocks don't look good haha. I personally can't see how the pieces clash with eac other, as in Forgeworld we have two types of prop 'styles': Natural and Forerunner.
