I tried my best to recreate the Sub Base from Modern Warfare 2, as it was my favorite map. I came pretty close to using the entire budget and most of the available pieces, so this is pretty much as close as I can get it. Most of the dimentions are pretty accurate, but a few may be off becuase I had to minimize the number of pieces used, obviously. Feedback is welcome and appreciated!

Whats the random floating block in the second last screenshot? Other than that looks good, will give it a DL :)

The floating blocks to prevent the grav lift from shooting you too high. There is one at each of 3 different lifts/ladders. They don't really affect gameplay unless someone gets on top of it I guess. Any better ways?

Ah ok sorry :p It's probably the best looking way but if people kept getting on top then you could use the smallest one way shield doors?

Yea, that'd work too. Maybe a one-way shield that's phased mostly into the platform (at the top of the ladder)?

EDIT: Just realized they cost $200 each and I only have $330 left in the budget. And I already cut down on the pieces used several times over.

If you lower the grav-lift below the floor it can still push you upward, it just doesn't push as hard if it is low enough. By doing that you can make the map look better aesthetically, and work slightly better too (even though it already looks amazing in almost every way).

If you don't understand completely you can hit me up on XBL.

Great map. I always loved Sub-Base, the map looks almost pixel perfect. A must download for me! Keep forging bro.

Thanks! I did lower the grav lifts below the floor, but I don't think they will go much lower and still work - and 2 of them would be in the way of people walking below. Besides, they'd still launch you like 10 feet too high. And the blue glow kind of indicates to players where to go.

If you get to play some games on the map, let me know how it works out. I've only tested it with 4-6 players and it wasn't really enough. The map is bigger than it appears.
