Lol ya I read the mythological stuff when I was little. then I read the actual poem a few years back.

I woulda used it as a name because it fits my part of my pattern, however, it is a well known name... and I couldn't have that... woulda given off the wrong impression of my map

I wasnt saying it was bad for your map...

I was merely saying I didnt wanna just name my map Odyssey and have people expect something it isn't

Blocking off the back halls of the map doesn't sound like a very exciting map to me. With Foundry you could have created something for the Conquest territories, but instead you used the are that was already built. With the back hallway it can't be that big either.

Is everyone making a Conquest map now? Because I had a pretty good idea for one I could have created.

Well the thing is you see, people are creating there own versions on foundry with walls and things. But no one has decided to create a hallway and make it into sections, like we have.

I actually agree. You might want to reconsider remaking the map and utilizing all the walls that were given to us. I'm sure you could make an amazing Conquest map from scratch on Foundry. Just be sure to have your plan predetermined.

Yeah that's a good idea, I just don't want to create it in the near time, but maybe in a later day. I feel like creating new maps, and playing with the community for a little bit.

Yeah i think everyone is into the gametype now, but i personally wana make a nice CTF map on foundry.....

It's always a good idea to go original and separate yourself from the crown.

 

I'm starting to think I have to dig through the entire FH website for every previously made map... I just made something like this yesterday, thinking it would be a quick conquest map. Curse you for your having done it before me, and the people before you for thinking the same! :squirrel_rant:

I downloaded it anyways, to see what the differences are... After all, i did make mine wind in and out of the doors for that extra bit of space so I could fit 5 flags a bit more comfortably, and allowing a bypass of that walkway, allowing for an unwary team to be flanked

 

Cool I had an idea like this but never got to doing it, this is really cool.

 

I like the concept of this map. It looks like fun with a lot of people because it would be complete chaos (I like that sorta thing)! Good work.
