Cathedral Court, is my first halo reach map. I built it solely for GRIFBALL. Beautiful architechture with the trusses. there are 4 spectator booths for the GREEN team, making it a 16 player game with 4 spectators. In one of the large side windows, is a revanent prize vehical. the other has a great view of paradiso. Loadout Camera in a spectator booth Spectator booth Winners Prize View of Paradiso Fly-Through Thanx
This looks seriously awesome man. I love how you had the prizes and energy swords. The spectators booth is really cool too. The view of the island looks pretty awesome. This is sure to be my hardrive locked griffball court for customs, awesome.
This is an AWESOME Grifball court. The aesthetics are fantastic and I really hope you submitted this through the right channels because this should be used in the Grifball playlist.
If there is anyway to submit it for the Bungie Forgetacular or GrifballHub | Covering Grifball in Halo: Reach and Halo 3
personally i don't like seeing millions of grifball courts, but ascetically this map=win the cones however can interfere with original gameplay which i would suspect you would be doing
I don't see how the cones would interfere. they never have when i played. they are just for aesthetics.
As little as they may affect gameplay, they would have to be removed for the official game types should matchmaking ever adopt this. Regardless, looks great. is there a soft kill barrier on the blocks in the assuming rare event someone lands up there?
Hi, I'm an AGLA (American Grifball League of America) admin. Just figured I should tell you, having green team spawns in the game doesn't work, since for some reason the spawns rotate after each round. Shitty, I know. Also, yes, the cones would have to be removed, and while I haven't personally gone in and size checked, if this map were to be used in any official context (MM, or more likely as a home court for a league team) it has to be a certain size. The rules for Grifball courts can be seen here Red vs. Blue · Build Your Own Team Home Court Post 701 has the rules. That said, these are just the rules if you ever wanted to see your map make Grifball matchmaking, or be played in official league games. What you do in your own Grifball custom games is none of my business . Also, since you've spent the time to build a court, maybe you'd like to join the league? Check out Grifball.com if you're interested.
The map is actually 0.4 units smaller than the official size. Thanks to your link, i DL the A.G.L.A. AA TEMPLATE, and checked my map very thoroughly. I have completed an A.G.L.A. version of my map. I am going to post it to redvsblue for them to approve it, then i will put it up on forgehub. THANX for your help.
No need. Just post it at GrifballHUB. In your post ask to have it also approved for A.G.L.A. League play and i will inspect it. Once approved people can use it for GGL games, and as a "Home Court" in A.G.L.A. League games. The chances of seeing it in the MM playlist are remote at the moment as there are a few dozen maps in line ahead of yours. One question. How did you get 4 Lights to show?
