Darnell1992 coming at you with gifts and festive cheer. Today i give to all lovers of halo the game of hungry hungry hippos . 2-4 Players noting that for players is better. This game is a lot less straight forward then it seems and takes a bit of skill. You start then get in your wraith which can only move left to right and using the curve of your mortar you have to get the pellets into your goal behind you. The goal behind you is flat and you may find sometimes the ball gets stuck but this is not a bad thing sometimes. In this game you cannot score in rapid succession so leaving on back there to nudge in later will benefit you. Also you can use this knowledge to push a ball on your enemies goal line in to reset it and get it out of a chance of him scoring if he just scored a ball. Balls auto reset and its pretty kool. HoHoHo ! Enjoy
No comments? I think this is an awesome idea. How does the scoring system work? And are you sure that it's impossible to get out? Could this work with 2 teams of 2? What's to stop players from getting out and moving the ball to their goal? You probably could have elaborated much more on this post, and made it much better. But, this does look fun, so I'm still going to download it. To improve it, I would suggest making the area above the wraiths look like the mouth of a hippo (not sure if that's what you're trying to achieve with the inclines).
yea im still nt very good at posts but the scoring system works via stockpile mechanics You cannot run down to your goal zone and self score as there is a kill zone and the arena with the balls is a soft kill zone... which on second thought i should probably change ...hmmm not a bad idea with making the top look like a hippos mouth. Would need help though as im not good at those kinda things . The inclines are for ball return . Thanks for my first comment on forgehub
This seems like an awesome idea. I'm interested to see how the scoring systems work so I'm definitely downloading.
i actually have the hungry, hungry, hippos game and you did a good job at bringing the game into halo but i think you should have kept the wraiths on top on top of a platform in front your goal instead of on the side just to make to more like the original game and you shouldve built something like a barricade surrounding the wraiths to prevent people from moving them and you shouldve kept the ramps at a downward or leveled incline because its frustrating when you shoot your ball in your goal but it doesnt go all the way up (you couldve used a one way shield to prevent this) and what is stopping the ball from going behind you? a lot of unanswered questions and your description was too vague for my taste but good job on bringing this into reach (i dont have four people to play the board game with) but its still a lot of fun to play maybe you should make a v2?
