Torch and Burn

    Your objectives are to
    Infiltrate the facility, your entry point is here

    Secure this command center
    [​IMG]
    Once that is complete, secure sensitive ONI material in the research area
    [​IMG]
    Bring it back to the command center
    [​IMG]
    From there, retrieve the bomb stored here
    [​IMG]
    And bring it back to your command center
    [​IMG]
    This map/gametype is based on the Torch and Burn mission Noble is assigned to during "The Package." The main difference is that you are not Noble Team but an ODST squad.
    Weapons:
    DMRx3
    Needle Riflex3
    Magnumx1
    4 frags
    1 grenade launcher
    1 Concussion Rifle
    1 focus rifle
    1 sniper rifle
    1 assault rifle
    Spawning:
    Red:

    Red initial spawn, the Spartans can spawn here throughout the course of the game

    From phase 2 onward, the command center becomes a bit of a holdout

    Blue:

    Elite Initial Spawn, this is a one time spawn area

    [​IMG]
    During phase 1 anyone on the elite team can spawn here

    [​IMG]
    Everyone may also spawn here

    [​IMG]
    Fireteam one for the elites can spawn here anytime

    For phase 2, fireteam 1 can spawn here, but in phase 3 anyone can spawn here

    For phase 2 fireteams 2&3 will spawn here

    Gates:
    During Phase one the second floor is the highest a player may go

    After phase 1 the whole map is access-able.

    Except for the vent which leads to the bomb spawn, this does not become a usable area until phase 3

    Several things that wont make this as popular as might like...


    1: i see little to none asthetics, even a juicy FX might have made this better
    2: teams can spawn in the same place during certain phases
    3: sword base is a small map, making the gameplay for invasion unfun
    4: there is no description of the gametype that i saw, if there is a gametype
    5: the sandbag blockades of the doors and lifts look ugly (no offense just an adjective)
    6:you posted several pictures severaly, randomly, and with no description. making a viewer feel lost in the post, not the good way either.
    7:weapon placment (the single concussion rifle) is bad
    8:if anything you should have put this in the testers guide.

    I'm not sure what you did here because all i see is blocked off lifts and you made sword base invasion able and changed the name. Feel free to yell at me if I'm mistaken. If thats all you did i give it a 1/5 because honestly it doesn't seem to me like you put that much effort or creativity into it... sorry but that's just my opinion.

    No you beat me to it! I was going to make a Sword Base Invasion Map too. Meh, i could always make it better than yours >: P

    Anyways, mine still isn't finished, but i will already give out some information:

    Since Sword Base is so small, i tried to push the spawns as much as possible from the objective to prevent instant-action you would expect on Sword Base.

    I might not use Sprint or Evade for any Loadouts.

    All lifts are blocked off except the Red one which will unlock in the second Phase.

    Spartans attack, Elites defend.

    Some loadouts will have only one grenade.

    Any Energy Sword or Shotgun Loadout will be weaker.
