    I enjoy to present you my first map for Invasion which is located on the forgeworld section: Montana.
    Take some minutes of your lifetime and watch the linked pictures of the map and its gameplay. Please rate this invasion map after downloading it.
    And of course in Version 1.0, on every map by me you can find a hidden gold-beater.
    You can find it without Editor mode. Tell me your results after launch ^^.


    I need feedback of my map about balancing for common versions 1.X.
    Changes in Version 1.X (coming soon)
    - Spawn-cam placed
    - Prepare time of bomb reduced
    - ammo of rocketlauncer/sniperrifle/Plasmalauncher
    - hidden gold-beater placed

    Background:
    The Covenant discovered a powerfull weapon in sector Montana on Halo Delta. They take a stand on this location and it seems that they are searching for something. Yet we don't know for what. And this is your job, spartans! Find every information about their intention and then destroy the forerunner weapon before the Covenant can use it. I count on you Lieutenant!
    For the operation you will get enough vehicular support. The gauss is already hot!

    Operation: Cancel
    Phase 1 "The rouse of lion"
    Capture the forerunner relay or capture the forerunner control center.

    Phase 2 "thieving magpie"
    Kilo-202 will deploy a Warthog on Alphaposition if the landing zone is safe. Get to the forerunner atrium and steal the core of the Covenant. Its saved information are very usefull for use. So dont flaw the core!

    Phase 3 "Cleaning service"
    Kilo-204 will deploy some more power on Alphaposition which you may use in the last phase. Shoot your way to the forerunner weapon with your Gauss Warthog and blow up this whole district.

    ---Guide - How to win with Spartans---
    Try to jump unnoticedly over the rock ramp to get to the control center (Bravo).

    With a sprint jump you can get unnoticedly to the relay (Alpha).

    Hide on unwatched spots to let your teammate spawn close to combat.

    Use the sniperrifle on a highground, like the control center.
    [​IMG]

    Support your team with curtain fire by the rocks.
    [​IMG]

    Use the armor lock in narrow ways to absorb grenades and vehicles.

    Pull the core carrier to move the core faster.
    [​IMG]

    Use the Gauss-Warthog to move the bomb fastest and safest possible.

    The Gauss is very effective against a banshee. Pay attention on the sky.

    The rocket launcher is often the last method against a banshee.

    The Relay is full of explosives. Just one grenade do and everything will blow up.

    With a carbine you can kill the enemy out of harm’s way.

    Defend inside of the Atrium. It’s too dangerous outside.

    Throw grenades in the narrow way to don’t let escape the enemy.

    Use the plasmalauncher against the Gauss-Warthog.

    The banshee can attack unnoticedly.

    On the sniper nest you can kill isolated enemies.

    ok, that AA gun is very sexy. the back story and decription of phases really tells you have put a lot of thought into this map. congratulations on your first post: it looks fine

    Great aesthetics :) the circular room looks amazing and the gun is gorgeous, could you put up an overview of the map though?

    Hey guys, long time ago.
    The map was downloaded 101 times. Quite a lot for me.
    So do you have any test reports of playing this map?

    I played my map often but i can't figure out a "perfect" balancing.
    Can you help me about these facts?:
    - shieldwall in "atrium" in 2nd phase, too hard for Spartans?
    - Banshee too infirm against Gauss-Warthog?
    - Phase 3 "Assault" too hard?

    I need your support and dont be busy.
    This map is real fun, trust me.
    btw...a video clip is on work. This is gonna be awesome!

    Wow, Aesthetics are great... I am more of a gameplay guy... Maybe we can forge together one day and strength each other...

    Dude, I made an Invasion map on the same spot... you can check my map out to see how I solved the problems...

    The first problem is that probably the attacking team is gonna be smashed in their spawning zone... Try making a little base for them with at least two different exits covered with one way shields...

    Guass Warthogs are overpowered... they beat tanks, banshess, warthogs, EVERYTHING... A Plasma launcher, a rocket launcher with one clip, or a few plasma pistols + plasma granades should be good for balancing against the banshee... BTW, by now everyone knows you have to team up against the banshee...


    You can also put a Falcon counterpart... or another banshe, and whoever wins, dominates...

    Phase 3. Assault... I haven't played invasion in your map yet...

    BTW, we should forge together someday :) I am a very gameplay driven guy...

    I can make it work and you can make it pretty.

    Plasma launcher or plasma pistols and grenades for Spartan team against the banshee? It isn't slayer dude, it's invasion.
    Also, the gauss warthog is overpowered, but not on 'Cancel'.
    The Gauss can't be used effectively on the small terrain Montana.
    Please, read the guide for Spartan and Elite team. :D
    Maybe we could work together, but i believe that we will have problems in contacting each other.

    Btw, i have tested my map more often and got some important results with 10 till 16 players on Cancel.
    I say one thing: This map is well-balanced.
    Follow the guide to check out your possibilities in gameplay or request me for individual replays.
    The Map stays version 1.0...there will be no change for a long time
    Problems will be fixed with the Invasion game mode. The first fix of the game mode will be uploaded tomorrow yaayyyyy.

    All of the individual structures in your map look amazing, especially that AA gun. I can tell you really put a lot of time into balancing each phase and making it just right for each team. This is probably one of the most fun invasion maps out there. You also took a lot of time in making your post extremely detailed which is great. My only suggestion is to reduce the starting ammo in the sniper because it seemed a bit overpowered but the RL is ok because there are a few vehicles. Overall, very nice map, keep up the good work.

    Hey guys, some new update for you.

    After nearly 100 wonderfull downloads of the gametype,
    the official Gametype for Cancel has been updated to version 1.1.
    changes in gametype 1.1:
    - speed of core/bomb carrier on - 90 %
    - bomb activation countdown - 7 seconds
    - bomb detonation countdown - 7 seconds
    = 14 seconds for planting the bomb instead of 20 seconds

    If you work together, the third phase will not be hardcore. Have fun.

    Perhaps you ask yourself now: Hmm, gametype 1.1 with few changes...where is my CANCEL-map on version 1.1?!?!
    And i answer: Dude, its done. Version 1.1 for Cancel is finished but not yet published on forgehub. You can find the new version of the map in my Fileshare.
    So when can we see more Cancel-things on this Thread?
    I spend a lot of time in illustrations and clear views of forged maps. Cancel 1.1 will be published when i finished the official flythrough video. Im working on a Machinima intro on Cancel too. Stay tuned guys!!!
