Back in the Halo 2 day this game was the only thing me and my friends played. Plasma rifles, sticky grenades, in Midship with CTF, it was a blast (literally). When I first heard about forge I knew I was going to recreate this. Sadly Bungie decided to make forerunner levels, without covenant or human maps. The only place I could put this was in Snowbound's lower level. Also for some reason Plasma Rifles aren’t a beginning weapon, so I used needlers which still make it awesome. I also blocked off the top of the map because it doesn’t really give a rave party feeling. Oh, and if you get out of the level for cheating purposes enjoy your boot form the party. The point of the game is an underground CTF match. I’d suggest playing some Rave music for added fun =D. Oh, things will get hectic. Obviously there will be a big standoff in the bottom room so if your team controls the middle room long enough you will get a special power up that will give you 2000% Damage resistance and a bit more damage. It helps for rushing the flag. HURRY! Rush them! Getting the flag gives you a 1-shot hit and a tiny bit of damage resistance but you better get back to your base, or you won’t last long. I got it I got it! When heading to cap the flag, don’t forget to kill the other flag carrier. This is probably my most original and less serious map. I went to a LAN party with 14 people and we played this, everyone loved it. It makes a great silly/party game. Ironically my iPod was on shuffle and it played rave music while we were playing, lol. GAMETYPE: Rave Flag MAP: Rave Flag 1.3
sounds awesome...if your gonna play a match, invite me ... gamercard thingy is same as my account name, Insane54
I remember seeing this on Bungie. It looks like a very good map, I will try it out when i get a chance
i played a 3 on 3 on this and it was AMAZING, except for the fact there was like no skill or strategy...it was awesome tho ;D seemed like it would be better with more people
I played this map and honestly it wasn't very fun. The first team to get down to the center just kept throwing stickies towards the other base's door. After about ten minutes there was only on flag capture. Its a good idea but the way the bottom of the map is set up ruins it because there is only one exit from each base.
Thanks for your review I tried to make it so it wasn't a tunnel raid but snowbound is a terrible map. Usually I just end it after 3 captures because it usually takes around 20 mins anyway. Like I said, it was much funner on midship where there was many different ways to go. Any suggestions on how to fix it? The only thing I can think of is to put a sender tele in both bases that leads to the middle behind the shield wall.
thats kinda the point..i think...its like total chaos, makes for some great fun with friends (at least in my case)
I took the voodoo's advice and fixed some of the game play aspects to this map There is now a teleporter in each base that leads to the middle of the underground behind the wall. I finally incorporated that back wall into something important ;D I also put a divider so you can't camp that area, but you can still have a nice fight I put up a new version so get to downloading! :-*
I have yet to play the one version but I think the idea of the tele leading out to the walled off section is a good idea. People can go either way but must return through the whole tunnels to score.
Hey, good job at listening to advice and editing the map for the better. As you can see, it works! Great job, and I look forward to your next creations!
