Hi guys, I'm actually forging a large map, which would work with gametypes like CTF, Big Team Slayer, Assault and Invasion. The map is nearly finished, but I've encountered a big problem. In fact, I have just 5 bucks left and I cannot place nothing more in the map. Considering that the map is finished, and that spawn points cost nothing, this shouldn't be a great issue. The problem is that I cannot even place any spawn point! I don't know what's happening: I have 93 spawn points left, and every single spawn point costs 0$, but I cannot place them. Can you help me, please?
BZZT error: You have reached the REACH object limit, to be rid of this error, delete anything and you can place that many more objects Seriously though, in forge there is a global object limit. (meaning you can only place x amount of ALL objects) So far, I haven't seen any exact number yet, but I seem to recall it to be in the 625 objects range.
Basically what he said ^. The only thing I would add is that you need to find things you can delete to free up some objects. If you have $5 left and have already hit the global object limit, you probably have used mostly $10 objects (inclines, building blocks, walls, natural) and have used a lot more objects than normal (meaning, a map that uses more expensive gadgets and decorative objects). If you can consolidate anything at all, like deleting several smaller pieces and replacing with one large one, that will help.
I want to know how you are down to 93 spawn points already when you start with 250. No map should need more that 150 different spawn points.
