Ocean Sports 4-12 Players (all gametypes) Welcome to Ocean Sports! This custom made aquatic indoor arena is set to play 3 custom gametypes: Dodgeball, Poloball and Shark Reef. Each gametype has its own floor elevation and size, along with additional decorations. Each gametype is fully functional, so points are awarded by skill. Custom Gametype Download Links: Dodgeball Poloball Shark Reef Dodgeball Don’t be confused with the common gametype Dodgeball, where you would just throw grenades and stick people. This gametype you use giant golf balls to kill your enemies. The goal is simple; splatter your enemies with the golf balls. The arena has two 2-Way shields to prevent any physical contact with the other team, and has a grav lift in each corner to prevent any build-up of golf balls. Now there is a bit of skill involved into actually splattering your enemies with the golf balls. If you hit the ball wrong, it may jump into the air going over your enemy’s head, shoot off to the left or right side, hit your enemy only just taking out some health, or go entirely backwards and committing suicide. If you hit it just right, it will storm across the arena splattering your enemy, and he won’t even know what hit him. TIP: The trick is to roll the ball in front of you until you get a decent shot (Sometimes if you have just a little room between the ball and you before you strike, it may be more of an accurate shot but less power). Then have your crosshair right over your enemy (this will help you have a better understanding where the ball will go), and then strike your ball. Then it should storm so fast towards the enemy that it may be almost impossible to dodge. This may require some practice as these steps always hard to remember and master. If you are successful this is what it should look like: The game goes until 2 rounds have been played. Each round is 4 minutes. Pummels, suicides, and betrayals do not affect the score. The team with the highest score wins. PoloBall (Minimum 6 players recommended) PoloBall is a greatly modified version of Grifball. This gametype takes place deeper in the arena and water is physically present. There are two small timeout cages and goals for each corresponding team. Once the game starts, each team will race towards the bomb (I will call it the ball). When you are NOT holding the ball, you are invulnerable, have low gravity and can sprint. BE CAREFULL, once you pick up the ball, you can be pummeled, but you will also have 150% speed (and your armor color will be white). Keep in mind when you die, you respawn in the timeout cage until the round is over. Since each person has hardly any gravity, you can use your Gravity Hammer to ‘push’ your enemies away. This causes them to be stalled in the air, sometimes for seconds. When you have a clear shot, take the ball, then run toward the other team’s goal and score a point for your team. This then starts the next round freeing anyone who was in their timeout cage. Each round is 1 minute long, and there are 10 rounds. If there is a tie, Sudden Death will activate and that round will last 2 minutes. Shark Reef OPTIONAL HONOR RULE: Elites should not be allowed to play because they can jump higher, walk faster, and are also taller, which can make the game “unfair”. Shark Reef is an infection based gametype. Shark Reef takes place in the deepest part of Ocean Sports, and players can be completely under water . In Shark Reef, there are plenty of rocks for cover and “camping” area’s. Zombies (I will call them Sharks) start on the red team side of the map inside a cave which has 2 exits, and the Humans will spawn randomly somewhere outside on some of the rock islands. (NOTE: It is very RARE that someone can die from crouching in these waters, I found it to be a 5% chance. Also it won’t punish your score and will NOT infect you) Each round 1 shark will start. Sharks start out with Swords and Gravity Hammers, have 150% speed, can sprint, and have low damge resistance. Humans start out with Shotguns and Magnums, and jump height is very limited with no radar present. When the game starts, the shark can choose to sneak or sprint to their first meal. The humans can use the environment for cover or for a sightseeing view. Be careful not to fall into the water for too long, zombies can be very fast and may come out of nowhere since the water is quite foggy! (Plus keep in mind, sharks can jump higher than you!) Unpredicted suicides and glitched betrayals will not count against your score. Some rocks have a soft kill zone to prevent overpowered positions (HINT: That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use them for less than 10 seconds). And don’t even try to spawn kill the sharks, you will regret it. Thank you for checking out Ocean Sports! Please like and recommend to your friends. Please post your ideas so I know everyone thinks of the gametypes. I take all criticism, compliments and will answer questions. Sorry to burst your bubble bro, but this map goes in casual, or minigame. But otherwise this map (maps?) looks great. It it all works then It will be great.
Yes I have disabled it. But you can be assassinated when you have the ball, although you might as well just swing your hammer at them since its faster and more effective.
Here: I just made it for fun. Feel free to use it, or not if you don't want to. It's small enough for a sig
awesome map(s) bro! personally i love infection, and havnt really seen a real successful shark map but this one is really intense and havnt found any glitches or strong camping locations. the poloball is interesting, at first i though it was just grifball but the rules are much different and just as fun. teamwork is necessary to win. dodgeball was fun, but not as intense as the others, its a whole lot better than just sticking people though, and the point system works so thats an A+. i only played with 6 people, all had different opinions of which was the best. personally if i rated each gametype, it would be: shark reef 10/10, poloball 8/10 dodgeball 7/10. overall ocean sports is sweet man, downloaded and recommended!
I changed the thread up a bit so its much more simple. Plus the thumbnail was changed to the unedited dodgeball picture. Any comments or questions about the map please post. Added after 3 Days 23 Hours: Thanks man, sorry it took my awhile to apply, I guess I saved it wrong or something...
