So I've watched a few of the videos that are from the new and upcoming game, Brink. It looks interesting and I like the character customization the game offers. It also makes it sound like you can do more than just run, point, shoot. Is anybody considering this game or do you just think its going to be a flop of a game with more unfulfilled promises like most games?
I will definetly rent it at least, it looks like a sick ass game. If the reviews are good then I might buy it.
If the control responsiveness is anything like Killzone it should flop. Any fps that comes out on the 360 should take full advantage of the 360 controller. It is great for fps's and any shooter with wonky controls won't do well. I was not a fan of the gameplay in the video, sure the player customization was great and cool and I think that is something that will become a staple in games from now on, but there was nothing standout or stellar in the gameplay. I think RAGE will be a far better game.
I dunno... It all depends on RAGE's multiplayer. Brink looks incredible IMO, and Im buying it on its release date, but Im buying RAGE on its release date too. Also, we havent seen an awful lot of Rage, and have heard little about its multiplayer, except that Race is one of the game modes.
