    ...which paints microsoft as a heartless child-stealing company. Thats a terrible idea.

    What... the... ****. Why is everyone taking everything I say as an insinuation for what Microsoft should be doing.

    I was simply indicating that it IS possible to sue even when the kids are under age. Showing him that his point was mildly incorrect.

    Actually, this is incorrect. If it's the kid that agreed to the terms, then the parents aren't responsible. Again, it protects against exploitation.

    UNLESS under the course where it says under the ToS that you are required to be seventeen, then the rights are usually disregarded.

    Hence Parents are still being sued for their kids stealing copyrighted music. Which is why it usually says in the top of the ToS; "By Agreeing to these terms, you are saying you are over the age of 17" or "18".

    Did you also know that the parents can get sued if their child damages company property? Oh yea, it's legal to do that. Same with government property. Maybe it's not the same as modding, sure, but it can still be counted as such if the ToS are written correctly.

    Sure, sometimes they are let go because of what you speak, but that doesn't mean you're not completely safe.
