    Description:
To Dr. Brian Lopez AKA the Bropez,
Yo yo yo, I've got some effin stories to tell ya broham. I , Jake the rattlesnake Murphy, Supreme researcher of the most chill in our righteous nation of Brohemia, may have just found one of the greatest links to our history before the great bropocalypse of the 6900's. You get my angle dawg? I'm talkin about a temple. And not just any temple, but one of the famed temples of the ancient Broman god Broseidon. You know, Lord of the Brocean, he who gave the bro natty ice and threw the first and most epic kegger in existence at his bro sean's pad. Me and my brotastic research team uncovered this while we were blacked out from our customary post flight rager when we got to the chick filled and natty pumped beaches of historic Lake Chad for our Archeology field survey. It was truly an epic and surprisingly productive night bro, you shoulda been here instead a tryin to game that bro-ho from last saturday. Anyways my bropatriot, get you and some fine ladies out here so we can conduct a full brovestigation of this temple while keepin our thirsty thursday quota's up. We need someone well versed in broman archeology. The temple's got some crazy ass looking tech-stuff and extra construction beyond a normal temple. Mein broheim, if I didn't know better id say it looks like a hotwheels track or something. We'll be pregaming your arrival dudacus.

P.S. yo can you bring some more precision explosives? It appears we totes used up our initial supplies excavating most of the place.

Ok, well, now with the extra backstory out of the way, I give you guys my latest track, Broseidon's temple. This is a reimagining of a map I made a very long time a go called Pagoda. I've always enjoyed any game that had you racing on, around or near pyramids/temples, and I wanted to try and recapture some of that in a race track. I tried in halo 3 with Pagoda, but I was limited with my options and my forging wasn't at its greatest. With reach I decided to take another shot at it since the new forge was a lot more powerful, and this was the result. This map has several smooth banks and drift turns, as well as quite a few jumps, and even a "triangle forest" that makes the race much more interesting towards the end.

The ramp takes you to a drift turn, leading you back towards and into the temple

    The inside of the temple

When you come out, you take a wide u-turn and then take a jump over the entrance to the temple

You move along the coastline past the temple to the start of the next turn

The banked turn around the rock

The bank ends in jump, which takes you to a short platform, where you then jump onto one of the outside ledges of the temple

At the other side of the temple there's a banked turn that takes you into a short tunnel that pops you back out onto the next highest ledge of the temple

You then head to a 180 banked turn that takes you around and up to the the last few parts of the map

The triangle forest. This place can make or break you so be careful

This jump takes you into a final turn into the teleporter that takes you back to the start

    Q: What inspired your creation?
Like I mentioned above, I wanted to take another shot at doing a temple/pyramid themed racetrack since forge became a lot more awesome.

Q: How long did it take you to create this track?
It took me about 13 hours to create and decorate the track. Add another 5 or so of testing/tweaking. This was all done over the course of a week.

Q: What aspect of the track took longest to make?
I probably spent the most time making changes to the triangle forest. I didn't want it to be too difficult to get through without slowing down, but i still wanted it to feel challenging.

I'm sorry but why has noone posted on this yet? This looks like one of the most amazing tracks so far!

The length is perfect, if a track is too long it becomes tedious, and boring. The smoothness is awesome, all the turns looks really nice and the overall aesthetics are great; I love a track with aesthetic themes! The overview picture doesn't look great, it's only once I looked at the others I got excited for this map, maybe you could change your icon picture and overview, you'll probably get more attention doing that.

I'll try is next time I get on Halo, a little bit distracted with Trials HD (I'm 7th in the world...=])

That was the most hilarious backstory I've ever read.

Anyway the track looks great, I'll DL and come back with some C&C.
