I made this map for several reasons and I want to start off by saying that I’ve been dyeing to make a rave map. So, when my clan’s anniversary was coming up the mention of having a huge party in Club Errera came up but sadly was shot down after realizing campaign only allows for 4 people not 16+. So I went out to solve the problem myself and this is what I got and now I’m ready to share it with you. How to Play: The map can be played many ways; role paying, machinima, but it was built to be played with the game type is “Rave” a king of the hill game-type the reason for this is that it’s the most beneficial game-type because it makes use of the hills appearance and has a built in timer to show who’s been on the dance floor the longest. (Gametype = Rave/king of the hill) About the map: The map is a remake of Club Errera so it’s expected they have the same layout it also resembles Crater at Night from ODST. The map consists of a total of; three bars, a dance floor, four ramps, and multiple seating areas. Only basic lighting with downloadable map (2 purple lights, juicy and Next Gen and king of the hill). What’s in the Media shots? Well I used the purple effect, several different rearrangements of purple, blue, red lights, and kill zoon (red hill). There are a few MAJOR problems with your map. This map is highly unbalanced. 2 Focus Rifles and way to much armor abilities. It looks nothing like Club Errera! There is no dance floor, no DJ stand, and I suggest removing the kill ball. What the **** dude! Why the **** is there so many teleporters?! They lead to places with great camping spots. You really need to fix this map. It makes me want to rage. Club Errera should stay as an aesthetic map, not a casual map. 0.5/10
As a Casual map I think this looks very cool. Disregard the 2nd comment honestly especially since the Focus Rifles look like Rave Lasers which is awesome
Chill out mochasun. There are plenty of competitive maps to critique. Who cares if it is unbalanced, the main purpose of this map is just to have fun. I like how you say this is a competitive map in your first post when it's put in the casual section.
Like Mocha said, stop before you'll get infracted. There is so much immaturity and spam in this tread, if you think you have to argue over a map, do it via VM so something. Consider this a warning for everyone, I'll delete your posts to clean up the thread
thanks for deleting the comments, it was gettin out of hand, i tried reminding them. now onto the map, it has a pretty good aura about it but i'd suspect this to be a aesthetic map like mochasun said. i'd have to try some games on a real match to see how it does.
Looks cool and the gametype sounds silly. I'll download it and edit later, but here's my only gripe; you didn't use Siege of Madrigal or Never Surrender for the video... EDIT: Sorry, I haven't gotten around to testing it yet, but I'll try to remember next time I play Reach.
I think this belongs in the aesthetic maps imo. Anyway, youve worked well on the creation and accuracy, but unfortunatly you need to get ourself a capture card, or at best, get somebody to capture and edit for you! Heck, id even be willing to do it for you, because you have so much potential. Good aesthetics, but poor recreaion, is the best I can put it
