    There's lots of hype with 1v1 maps with Sequence and all the other maps Nexn is putting out, plus lots of other people adding to the great pool of 1v1 maps for us to pick from. I'm going to try to add the that pool with this map. I hope you all enjoy it!

    Charm is a symmetrical 1v1/2v2 map made under the rock overhang next to the waterfalls in Forge World. Its very small making it very close quarters and fast paced, which also makes it hard to avoid the small water holes. Made up of three octagons, Charm is completely enclosed. With many jumps, teleporters, lifts, and routes you must keep your eye on the time to run the game.


    Weapons & Equipment:
    Grenade Launcher x1 (90 sec. 2 spare clips)
    Sniper Rifle x1 (150 sec. 1 spare clip)
    Plasma Repeater x1 (60 sec.)
    Spiker x1 (75 sec.)
    Magnum x2 (30 sec.)
    Custom Powerup x2 (100 sec. gives I layer of overshield [stackable])
    Health Pack x2 (15 sec.)
    Frag x2 (30 sec.)

    Charm - 1v1
    Charm's 1v1 gametype is set up to be very tactical, and not overpowering. Which is why you have your DMR and one grenade to spawn with. The map being so small and with the 3 second respawns, you have 150% shield recharge rate.

    Well Looks great i could get a Game going rite now but from the Pictures looks great no Overpowering Weapons n stuff looks cramped (Great if thats what ur Going 4) and stuff will give it a 4.5/5 for Pics

    I was going for close quarters all DMR gameplay. I played a match with a friend and I found it to be quite fun. Plus I have updated it since then so it should be a little better. Also, if you could, 2v2 is what I lack feedback in now. All you need to do is enable teams in the custom gametype. Anyways, thanks and hope you have fun playing the map!

    That's what I had at first. But I decided I wanted all DMRs, no overpowering weapons or powerups. Btw, how do you make stackable powerups? I couldn't figure it out.

    Power weapons aren't overpowered in 1v1, it's in my opinion, needed to encourage more than boring DMR battles. Maintaining control of 2 overshields, a sniper, a GL plays a lot better, way more competitive, and along with maybe a spiker (which is an amazing counter to OS) and a few PRs/magnums.

    To make a stackable OS, set the custom powerup traits to 3 second duration, 4x shield multiplier, 200% recharge rate, and 50% damage resistance. The 3 second duration only allows the 4x shield multiplier to give you one layer of shield for every powerup you pick up, the 200% recharge rate helps with the burning effect of customs, and the 50% damage resistance counters the fact that by default a custom ALWAYS gives you 200% damage resistance, regardless of it saying 100%.
