It's really hard to filter out BTB maps since lots of people put their maps as 2-16 players.

I'm just wondering if anyone else would like to see a seperate forum for BTB maps, just like we do for MLG.

Current BTB maps could be transfered at the request of the author.

If you look at the bottom of the page in the competitive map forum, you'll see some search options. One of these options is minimum/maximum players on map. If the minimum is set to 8, this should help you filter Big Team maps from the rest of the bunch.

I kinda agree, though I'd rather it be for Big Team and Invasion since the two are very closely related to each other. It's somewhat of a pain to browse through the competitive category and look for nothing but Big Team maps right now.

Also, this isn't the place to post site suggestions as there is a separate forum for that. Still, that won't stop me from giving my input on the matter.

I can see how this would be good for the people looking for BTB maps and gametypes. Would be a useful addition!

I think rather than a completely different forum for BTB maps, that simply another checkbox to click while posting the map would be useful. A BTB checkbox would allow us to search simply for those maps that were designed for that purpose.

I believe you want to post this suggestion here. I personally think we should have a section for infection, and perhaps invasion, but BTB has never been an issue for me to find.

I honestly think that adding more forums will only make things less organized. When posting a map, we get these options:

When we check those, they allow our map to come up when someone searches for maps based on supported gametypes. Invasion and infection are already easy enough to find through this. As mentioned before, one could search for minimum players, but if we had a BTB option on this section of the map post, it would make things much easier.

Disclaimer: I'm not lecturing you, you would already know this. But, it was the easiest way to get my point across.

The issue is though that the majority of members here don't use the search/filter options. They go to the competitive page and look whats on the first and maybe second pages. With so much BTB and Invasion rubbish getting posted, actual REAL competitive maps often get pushed off the front page.

Also, in addition to a new section, I'd like it if there was some stricter moderation of casual and competitive maps. There are a lot of maps posted here that, honestly, suck. They're straight up casual maps made by casual gamers, nothing more. Competitive section is where the big boys come to bat and thats it.

While it may be getting a little ridiculous, Forgehub has never discriminated against maps based on how good they are or the talent the forger has.
