1. Go through the entire pallette using the "Delete All of these" function 2. ??? 3. PROFIT! But seriously, it's amazingly easy to make your own now... What's even the point?
Yeah the noble maps are broken or something because the delete all feature doesn't work properly on any of the maps. Sometimes it works for some objects, sometimes you have to push it twice, sometimes it deletes only the object you're selecting, and sometimes it makes gnomes appear.
The delete all function only works when you select an object that bungie placed and then it will only delete the other items that share the same gametype label.
This is only useful to those who don't want explicit and irrefutable credit for their maps. Unlike H3, the authorship of a map does not change when edited by some one that wasn't the first person to launch and save the map.
Some people have uploaded on to the file share a blank canvas . just search empty tempest on bungie.net and you will find a map with a $7500 spending limit. The driftwood will be fun to work with just for decorative purposes ,but the giant laser thing between the spires is pretty sweet. It even does damage when it's fully charged . ( you can hear it charging!) Also a random seagull is flying in the air... Not sure where you can go with that but it's the first animal ever in a multiplayer . Congrats seagull.
Don't forget about the fish in the stream on tempest. You can shoot those suckers too, but it's pretty tough... Fishing in Halo: Reach‏ - YouTube
You know I never considered that... Thanks for point it out. I will dump my empty canvases that I collected from others... [br][/br]Edited by merge: I love the fishing video... I love the rockets...
Hey, it's relevant to those who like to fish, and it is about Tempest, so I don't think it was a total loss to bring back this thread from the dead.
