Arising Hey guys This is my third post on forgehub and "Arising" is my first asymmetrical map. This version is only prepared for team slayer gametypes but when I get the time I hope to add oddball and possibly Ctf/assault variants. I'm done with writing a long description to maps when I barely receive any feedback but hopefully thatll change with this map. Soooo, Id appreciate any feedback and playtesting and I hope you guys like it. Now for the screenshots:
~Seriously, EVERYONE should check out & DL this map!~ Hey dude, sorry I didn't post any feedback on this sooner, I did not realize that you had posted your map. Nice job getting it done, I'm sure that this will be really fun to play on, just like Guardian was. I absolutely love how bottom middle has those gravity lifts to bounce players to the sides of the map, it's a nice feature to have that increases map flow by allowing players more ways to transition out of that location than Guardian did. I can't tell from the pictures whether or not you removed the Rocket Launcher in the middle, and never really thought about it until after we talked. Looking back at Guardian, there was no weapon in the middle of the map like that, and in general, Guardian was a rather small map, too small for a Rocket Launcher. I like the design that you added in top mid with the columns, and overall, the aesthetics on this map are sweet. I see that you kept the receivers . Were you able to get a video to Bungie and submit this for Forgetacular? Sorry I couldn't help test I was sleeping.
Antares- Thanks for the good feedback and support. On a note, I decided to take rockets out, the only power weapons on the map are one sniper, a grenade launcher, a shotgun, concussion rifle and an Overshield bottom mid. Unfortunately, I was not able to get a game in to send the map into forgetacular, buts its alright, i guess. I only wished that more people on here gave more feedback and gave the map a try so that I could make it as good as needed to be in matchmaking.
