Locked Out. Remake of the classic Halo 2 map, Lockout. Map was created by a friend of mine, TheFalkonite, and myself. He did the bulk of the construction, while I did most of the details and various bits a pieces. I was just giving credit were credit is due.
I could not find the thread on TheFalkonite (the original creator of this map). Was this somebody that posted their lockout remake on forgehub? I think it would be useful to add to your description so people know what they are looking at. Maybe describe what inspired you by the original creator's map? What are the changes you made to his map and why? It's just that I haven't seen or heard about TheFalkonite's map, so I'm less willing to download and play your map. And I'm sure most other people will feel the same when they take a look at your thread.

Sorry, that did sound funny. I meant 'the original creator of this remake.' (But come on, you couldn't read the rest of the post to figure what I was saying? Oh, that's good to know. I thought you were taking someones remake and reconstructing it to your liking. Having 2 or more people work together on a map really helps. Good job. I still think a better description would help you tho
I've never actually played on Lockout or Blackout in matchmaking, because I've only had xbl for... well not even a year, but almost a year. I've played on maps like Guardian though, and have heard a lot about how amazing a map Lockout is, and tried my best to make an original map that felt like Lockout. It was hard to do that without copying Lockout almost entirely, but I managed to do that. What I think makes Lockout really fun to play on is all the different planes. It only has three levels (I think) but each level has slightly slanted ramps to make these half levels and so on. That and the really good map flow on this map make it amazing. Sorry for the ranting, but great job remaking this map more so with Reach's objects and stuff. I can tell that this isn't to scale, but that might even make the map play better, especially that armor abilities are now in the mix. Nice job.
From my memories of Blackout and Lockout, this feels almost perfectly to scale. Also, watch how you phrase that, you make it sound like you're judging his map as an inaccurate version of Lockout and saying that you've never played on Lockout before, which comes out as really silly. As for the map, it looks lovely. I like that you put the cones and antenna back, I don't recall those being in Blackout. Also, nice use of blocks on top of the tri-room, it looks like the room on Blackout. Still, I'd go bananas for someone that rebuilt Lockout built into a clifface. That would be amazing.
