"This Forerunner power station, though long abandoned, still surges with power."

    ‪Halo: Reach Forge Map - The Canopy‬‏ - YouTube

The Canopy is a small/medium sized symmetrical map. It supports all gametypes except for Race and Invasion variants. The design is symmetrical, but the weapon layout is inversely symmetrical. 4-12 players are recommended.

There are 3 levels on the map:

Top Floor: Only accessible from the any of the four man cannons on the middle level, this section holds 2 plasma grenades on either side facing the bases.

Main Floor: This section is where the bulk of the weapons are. In the center is a series of connected rooms, and on the outside are mostly several interconnected bridges. On the four corners are lift exits from the bottom floor.

Bottom Floor: Holding the shotgun in the center, the bottom floor has lifts to the main floor at each corner. The layout is similar to the main floor, minus the bridges. Accessible by ramps from the main floor.

    Weapons (Respawn Time/Spare Clips):
    • 4x DMR (30/2)
    • 2x Sniper Rifle (60/2)
    • 1x Shotgun (90/1)
    • 2x Needle Rifle (30/2)
    • 2x Needler (30/2)
    • 8x Plasma Grenade (15/NA)

    Supported Gametypes:
    • Slayer
    • Multi-Flag/One Flag
    • Assault/Neutral Assault
    • King of the Hill
    • Infection/Safe Havens
    • Oddball
    • Headhunter
    • Juggernaut

NOTE: I am aware that there is z-fighting on several places. This was made before I knew how to get rid of it.

From a first glance, it looks like you've spent alot of time and effort on this map, and it does look rather well-made although somewhat complicated. More screenshots would help viewers to comprehend the layout of the map, as dense maps like this can get rather confusing and deceiving from lack of views. But again, from first glance, it looks rather good and judging from the description alone, there seems to be alot of gravlifts, which in my opinion, makes maps all the funner, but be careful as some people despise them.

It seems from the pictures that having a sniper on the map would almost be useless due to the lack of large lines of sight. The buildings in the middle seem to cut off any ability to effectively use the sniper. Do you have any thoughts on this? ( I may be wrong but it is rather hard for me to download and test maps quickly due to the fact my live account is gone )

It's actually not that complicated, despite what the screenshots reveal. And I put the grav-lifts in to give the map more accessibility. The man cannons are the only way to get the the top level, and I put in the grav-lifts because I really didn't want to put a staircase on the corners, and the grav-lifts just seemed like a better option.

The larger lines of sight are mainly around the walkway circling the rest of the map. They aren't nearly as effective near the middle, though.
