Well Hiya guys, I know it's been a while, trust me I know, waiting 2 months to get reach wasn't fun. But now I have birthed this creature I like to call Tangerine... you'll know why when you see it, at least you'll understand it a bit more. Welcome, to... Now, not viewable in any screenshot I have for you right now is the basement level which is where most of the action is going to take place, where the sword or shotgun may dominate the top, the dmr will fare better in the basement due to its more open nature. Also, the pictures refer to "sea side" blah blah blah... that just means its from the sea side base, both bases are mirrored and have NO color to designate what team it belongs to, what you get is a view of the sea at red teams shotgun balcony, and a nice view of the cliffs at blue teams shotgun balcony. Oh yeah, its named tangerine because everything is colored to be orange... you can't really tell in the pictures but everything is. Weapons (Subject to change) Shotgun x2 Sword x1 Dmr x2 Needler x2 Magnum x2 Frag x2 Sticky x2 Tangerine will when finished, support up to 8 players and will play any gametype but invasion or race. Additionally, all armor abilities are supported... that includes the pesky jetpack. Please let me know if you would like to test tangerine, as of me posting this tangerine only supports ctf and slayer. EDIT:
Oh I get it! It's called Tangerine because there's miniature tangerines hidden throughout the map! That, or because it's all orange. That sucks how long you had to wait to get Reach. That makes it all that much more impressive to see this great looking map so soon. Invite me for testing when the time comes.
Looks tight. Should make for some fast matches... The font you chose doesn't scale well with your images so I couldn't make out that text with the arrow but if you are looking to test the map add me to your friends list, I can bring a couple people in depending on the time of day to test it out.
This, is the basement... for the most part. Edited into the Main post. @OneDeviantsFate: I noticed that, and changed the size for the second group of pictures including the basemen, sadly I cant fix the first set without completely redoing it. But the words in that particular picture said "drop here for another level of fun and adventure" All in all, I'm thinking that the basement needs something to jazz it up, but am drawing a blank. Any ideas? Oh, and the spawn system for reach is wacked...
Wow it must suck to have to wait that long for a Halo game. I had to wait 3 months for MW2, but it wasn't the same. But at least you have it now, right? ORANGE you glad that you finally have the game? LOLZ. Send me an invite whenever you need testers too.
