ArkAngel (Update: Ready for testing)

    Just last night I finished the map along with CTF and Slayer, and got a few games on it. I'm hoping to start testing today-Sunday.

    ArkAngel is the reimagination of my Halo 3 map, Culmination (hopefully you know what I'm talking about :S ). I took a lot of your guys feedback and tried to redesign the map around those ideas. Some of the main changes are moving the bases closer to inner part of the map, and trying to spread the spawns around the map rather than having two main spawn areas like in Culmination. The last main change I made is attempting to bring a higher verticle level to play on, since jetpacks are a new part of Reach's sandbox.

    Unfortunately, I haven't seen your Halo 3 map, so I can't really judge to see if it's an accurate remake. But since it's your map, I'm going to have to take your word on it. Um, the whole thing looks good, but the little path on the left looks too simple. So I would recommend that you add on a little bit to it. Not that much though because you don't want to overdo it.

    I got all the gametypes set up except for a few (not looking forward to getting Territories to work). After a few tests, I have to say the gameplay is very unique. The gameplay seems sort of 'random,' but its still very balanced and works the way I want it to. Also, there isn't much cross-mapping, something I was kind of afraid of.

    One quick question, should I set up Spawn Areas for Stockpile? I assumed that there should be, since it involves two static bases, but there aren't any labels for spawn areas like in CTF and Assault.

    Hmmmm... I would vote yes for spawn areas, however, I guess spawning near your team the whole time isn't a terrible thing... Really there aren't respawn areas for stockpile?

    I thought there would be too. Unless I missed something, I guess Stockpile doesn't have a label for Spawn Areas :/
