The basic idea behind this map was to enclose all of the walkways and tunnels to give it a indoor feel, it also makes for some interesting grenade bounces and sniper ricochets. it only supports team slayer right now but I might update to include oddball and one flag.

    Weapons:

    1 sniper rifle
    1 grenade launcher
    1 energy sword
    2 needle rifles
    4 DMRs
    2 frag grenades
    1 plasma pistol

    red bridge

    Sniper tunnel

    Crossroads

    Blue side

Arial view with ceiling and facade removed

looking at the top down: top left is red bridge, bottom left is blue side, right is sniper tunnel, and top middle is the tower

This looks like a pretty good map. You definately used the pallet well, using blocks, buildings, bridges, etc, and It looks like it has pretty good flow. I'd say this looks like a good entry for the Forgetacular contest. P.S.-Sorry I can't DL this, but I can't get the internet connection to my xbox to work.

Hey Nakkajin, I did a review of your map over on my blog "Cue the Light" and I'm posting here to give the community at large a chance to see your map again, hopefully in a new light.

    Here is the write-up itself:

Take a second and look around claustrophobia and you'll see, well you'll see very little. And in retrospect this is a fairly good thing. Claustrophobia is a small map by design with a very tight feel to it. It is Nakkajin's first map and I'd say he has done very well with it as a first offering. The areas offered throughout claustrophobia aren't many, but each is quite unique. The use of the forge palette is used in ways I could not myself have imagined and their are no less than a few rooms that feel as though they were not designed within the limitations of forge.

Their are some examples of Z-fighting within the map, though they are not overly distracting and honestly, minimal during normal gameplay, although the map itself has many examples of it if you take the time to look around. Also of note is that the map has a few points, and I literally mean points. In trying to make such a tight map, Nakkajin inevitably made a map with a few pieces jutting out to obstruct the player. Again this was minimal, and I should specify that I only noticed it in a couple of spots where jumping came into play. Albeit slight, still mentionable.

Overall a unique space, fun to play around in and I suggest taking a look, you may learn a couple of new ways to use the pieces available to you in new ways. This map is a prime example of "the whole is more than the sum of its parts". As always, improvements could be made. Thanks Nakkajin for your map claustrophobia, keep up the good work.
