The Halo Games

Hello everyone and welcome to my very first map (if you download it)! This is a challenge map that should take a bit a skill but hopefully won't be too frustrating. The Tribute gametype is needed for this map.

And yes, I did name everything after The Hunger Games because it's a good book and I was reading it for my lit class at the time.

You start off high above ground right over your objective with blocked checkpoints in front of you.

You must find your way off and to the first challenge: the maze. There are many paths to choose from but only one prevents you from dying horribly. Pay attention and you might make it out alive.

(Not gonna actually show it so I don't spoil it. This is just the entrance.)


Next is the bridge. Use armor lock to protect yourself from explosions as you make your way across.

The last challenge is a running course. You'll have 10 seconds to run through each section. Two examples:

Rock Jumping

and Whatever You Want To Call This

After that is a leisurely stroll to the finish



I tried to make it easy enough so anyone can do it with enough effort but hard enough to be interesting. If you have 2 or 3 players you can probably exploit the maze part but that wouldn't be fun at all.

I guess I accidentally deleted it or something. :/

Anyway, I remade it and fixed the link. It's been a while since I've looked back at this map. . . *gets all nostalgic and junk*

 

I have no idea why it's doing this. The original gametype is still on my xbox and everything. The only thing I've ever done with it is remove it from my fileshare. I'm really sorry about this and it should be fixed again. :/
