Remake Gephyrophobia

    I made this map a few days ago its a remake of the map Gephyrophobia from the halo combat evolved pc version. It took roughly 3 hours to make, gephyrophobia played out really nicely of CTF on the pc. I tested this map with 3 other friends of mine in a 2 vs 2 elite slayer match. I think it was quite balanced and played nicely with level scoring most of the game with no major advantages to one single player.

    I am willing to play a big game on this map with anyone here who wants to, hopefully 16 people if possible;)

    The interior of the base is a bit different to the halo pc version, it I had more of a budget believe me I would have changed it to how it is supposed to be. Hope you guys like it:)

    I think that while the general layout is accurate, the side bridges are extremely stretched, and its flat. Gephyrophobia was arc shaped. I don't think that the gameplay of the original can be captured without this really important aspect. It would be like a flat narrows.

    I've arced the main level and lower level to match that of the pc map, as for stretched sky platforms theres not a lot I can do with a $0 budget and barely any pieces available. I will upload the new version here when its on my file share shortly.

    Looks pretty accurate. Just by looking at it I instantly recognize it. However, I hope you're not planning on entering this into the Forgotten Treasures contest, because PC exclusive maps are not allowed.

    Looks good :) Although I doubt I will be able to get enough players to have a proper game on it :(

    Can't download the map which is a shame because this looks like the best remake so far, please fix!

    I was out of forge budget at the time so I couldn't make any cavern like appearance to the bases or add more detail to them, what I was really trying to do was maintain the full size of the map.

    I jizzed when I saw the map name. Let's just hope it was not premature.

    After cleaning myself up and looking at the original post, I must say that a custom game type negating fall damage and increasing movement speed would be needed to play a balanced match, in my honest opinion. If it plays without these adjustments, more power to you. I won't be playing for a while due to Christmas shenanigans, but when I get back on I'll be sure to throw this in the pot for the consideration of SC Restroom or some other hosting mogul.

    I think the sight lines are very different from the original version, and I have to say the bases are nice, even with the limited budget you used for the map. The bridge underneath the main structure needs a bit of improving as well, but that's all in the technical side. I loved playing in this map in the PC, specially with 16 players, but I'm still waiting to see how this map works. If you could host an MP session with 16 players on this map I'd really appreciate that.
