Afterthought By Goron40 Background Afterthought is my first publicly released forge map. It is a symmetrical map suitable for almost any gametype, but it works best in slayer games. I tried to keep it as uncomplicated as possible to make it accessible to all players equally. Map Description Afterthought is a medium-sized competitive map compatible with all gametypes but invasion and race. It supports 2-8 players and works well for team slayer matches, keeping a very fast paced game. The towers on opposing sides of the map become heavily trafficked areas, served by both foot access and man cannon. Reminds me of my map ´illusive´. I believe you had pretty much money left and that you could use it. The map looks pretty OK, although nothing special.
I mean, I guess I could spend the rest of the money... but its more about quality, not quantity I'd say.
I actually really like this map. DL'ed it and it isn't bad at all. Very simple and not complex, I adjusted the spawns a little for better game play. Also, on the cliffside you have a little bridge type thing, you should try to add that to the other side so it's not to dominant. P.S. If you edit it, I suggest not using your WHOLE budget because it is possible you could get frame rate issues.
I got to help test this map on a couple of different occasions, and I always enjoyed it. The action is very quickly paced. While the action is definitely heavier at the towers, it also ranges outwards along the walkways and into the center. It's not the most heavily decorated map, but the quality of the gameplay definitely speaks for itself.
