I really like the stadium it seems like the perfect size for this and really well made. I also really like the scoring system and how you made a ball return system to keep the game going after a ball is scored.

I just have 2 questions/comments. In the video you posted at about 4:25 in the video I see a revenant boosting into a member of the blue team in front of the shield door and it looks like the blue player gets pushed through the shield door into the goal. Is there a kill zone in there to prevent players from walking around inside the goal?

Also this is just my personal preference, you don't have to change anything I'd just like to share this opinion. I see you said that at 5 minutes, that is basically half time and at 5 minutes the golf ball respawns in the middle of the map. I really like how you have a continuous round but I think it would also be good if you had 2 rounds of 5 minutes. I think the ball all of a sudden disappearing and respawning in the middle may either confuse some people(the first time they play) or cause some frustration. Let's say you score a goal at the 5 minute mark but the ball disappears before the scoring system goes off. The same thing could happen with 2 rounds of 5 minutes but I think it would be less frustrating if people saw that a round ended and that is why their score didn't count. That's just my personal preference.

If a player gets boosted into a goal, there are teleporters that transport you back to center field. The receiver node is up at the ceiling and you cant see it unless looking for it. Also there are more one way shield doors near the scoring mechanism to keep players inside the goal from setting off the mines.

I agree that the ball disappearing sucks, but its just bungies code. Like you said, the round ending would stop the ball from scoring as well at 5 minutes. I just feel that the game flows better as one round, without having to go through loadout screens, getting back in vehicles, and switching goals.

Also, its a lot faster to get back to playing this way. I noticed this when i went from round based to as many as you can in a round. Saying game over, going to a 10 second loadout screen, and then jumping in vehicle takes a lot more time than the ball return system of 15 seconds. And even with rounds, you gotta wait 1-15 seconds for the point to score in the stockpile goal. So might as well do 1 round with 15 second return. You don't really lose any time that way.

This is a lot of fun. I'd hate for this map to go unnoticed by the community. It is rather boring be the ghost, but somehow Tz managed to score all by himself using it...

All in all, I had a blast playing this and I hope you have some more success in your future.

This actually looks really, really cool. I'm glad I continued to read all the way down the first page though, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed the 1.2 version of the map. You should edit your OP with an obvious link to that right at the top. (To edit it, just scroll down to the bottom of your post, click "Edit," and then click "Go Advanced."

Looks amazing. Really. I can't wait to try this out.

THANKS MAN! I was told you couldn't change your original download links. I went back and changed it and i put the updated map info at the beginning of the post in red so people will notice.

Yes, The Wunder, the ghost is not everyone's cup of tea. Its nice variety though and is in fact my vehicle of choice. I consider myself decent at hanging back and boosting the ball into the opponents goal before they can react.

    Great map!

I thought you should know that the account "Revball Players" has no friends.

Are you going to go on it and add players?

FINALLY! The Splatterdome is complete! I've been watching your Revball threads, and the gametype looks sweet! You've won my DL, and I'm looking forward to any of your future maps!

We could use more forgers like you!

    Amazing map!

I played with some buddies and we had a lot of fun. I hope this gets put in Action Sack when the playlist comes out!

How do you fix the ground so the Revenants don't glitch and fly around? I heard that Revenants don't drive well on Forged surfaces.

First of all...Grats of the feature!

The game plays quite well, it's great fun and can get's really crazy in full games. The ball return system is really complex on the inside, and works well but there is the downside of people trying to shoot is as soon as it comes out in order to give their team the advanage.

I wouldn't say the forging inside the arena was spectacular though (don't get me wrong - it does the job) but the ramps running around the edges are higher along the sides than the goalside ones and dont bend smoothly round to them, meaning you still get a 90 degree angled corner at the top of the ramps and the ball will often get stuck in it with people just pounding the hell out of it.

I also think the game would be better if the players spawned in an area outside the main arena (maybe in an alcove above the goal, with a one way shield so they can only exit outwards) because when we had a game one guy wasn't playing from the start and his revenant really got in the way and disrupted gameplay. If there was an actual "spawning room" it would be much better.

Ghosts are also a little bit annoying to play as, they have little impact on the game, and a couple of the guys we played with prefered to just jump out and make a nuisance of themselves running around because they found it more fun. Admittedly, i swapped with my teammate's revenant sometimes beacuse i got a bit bored of the ghost.

This is just constructive criticism so please don't think i be hatin' on your map, it's really fun, we had a blast playing it and i'd reccomend it to anyone.

It's great, but it needs this one thing:

Soft killzones on the floor so people don't get out and push the ball themselves.

Anywho, it plays well and works well with any amount of people. (Asides from 1v1)

I honestly dont see the problem people are having with people getting out and pushing the ball. A person on foot cant push a ball very fast. One revenant cannon blast can blow the ball across the map and the person will NEVER catch up with it. Its rather pointless to be on foot.

Oh my God I love you! The complexity of what you did on the scoring and ball return system is insane! Love it love it love it! Do you mind if I take this map and change the asthetics?

I actually wouldn't worry too much about that. One time a guy on the other team got out of his vehicle and tried to put the ball in his net but someone shot it away and I went full speed into the guy and put him THROUGH the one way shields and he popped out of the ball return lol

I signed up just to say how awesome this looks and that I'd be very interested in getting in on a game sometime. I sent that silver tag listed in OP a FR.

Great job on the map! I had a blast with some of my friends. I was so amazed when I saw the golfball shoot back out into the arena. I was like "where did the ball go? Isn't the round suppose to end? Oh my god! The ball just shot back out! How is that possible? I love this game!". I'm pretty sure thats exactly what I said.

Overall the game worked great. The arena looks amazing, I love how the system scores points then shoots the ball back out. Awesome mini game!
