Picture a game in which Halo Reach players spawn in two seperate hangars. Then, the players have a choice: to fly a variety of aircraft into battle or to choose from a multitude of heavy weapons and stay and defend the base. This scenario is what Midway brings to the table. In a huge Forge World Map, players spawn in two hangars or bases, either the coliseum or the tunnel leading to Hemorrage, which is blocked off. Players fight for control of the skies and one neutral bomb located in the center of the Paradiso mountain. As well as vehicles and weapons, each base has an intricate system of anti air defenses connected by teleporters which allow players to strategicically defend their hangar. This massive map with a focus on aerial combat ushers in what I hope becomes a new genre of Halo Reach multiplayer combat: massive air battles. The layout of this game and the number of vehicles and weapons present on the map creates a feel almost like a real war -you don't have to wait for things to respawn, just hop in the Falcon or the teleporter and you're off. This map is great for 16 players, and I feel that less would make the overall experience not as intense. If you enjoy large team battles and want to try something besides old Hemorrage or Paradiso, give Midway a try.
