Ive been builiding a map on forge world and have the centre bridge nearly complete which is the main way to traverse the map. However, im new to making proper maps on forge and have no idea how to set about making bases. I need a small forward base which can hold a few vehicles and a main base which will be the initial spawn and can hold a few vehicles and have no idea how to do it. Can anybody give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Be creative with objects and find a combination of things that fit well. In general, you want to have multiple entrances and exits from each base, so that the action occurs on your bridge, not bottlenecking at one gate. Even a map like High Ground from Halo 3 had a couple of ways in!
Normally what my friends and I do is add-on to the preset buildings to create your own unique one. Building bases from scratch can be difficult sometimes if you don't plan it out. If you don't want to do what i recommended first then I'd suggest you sit down and sketch it out on some graph paper using a scale such as 1x1 block = 1 square on the graph paper.
