First of all I want to introduce myself because I am new at this forums and I didn't post it in the introduction threads because no one replies to those. Now lets check the map: Regret is based of from the start of the level Regret of Halo 2. Of course I had to adjust some things so it could be used in team slayer. The map was supposed to be a little bigger but i reached 0 in all objects except inclines, and my budget is at $5. It is a symmetrical map as it shows on the thumbnail. Here are some other screenshots: This shows a sideview of the map. The open area in the middle is were the rockets are. The closed are with the spire as a roof is were the sword is. This is the intial spawn area for red team, blue team spawns in an identical building. This buildings if anyone can notice are almost identical to the first room in the lvl Regret. Please tell me what you think of the map and if it needs somethings fixed or anything else that might help support the map . BTW, this is my first map Thanks.
im new here too so nice to meet you.And about the map im not sure because theres only two screen shots but from what i can see theres only one path from one side to the other and im not sure if thats gonna be a probably or not
can you upload a birds veiw pic? it would be easier to see. I seem to forget the exact details of that level, so it be easier to compare and bring back memories
I was considering a design for a converse symmetrical map slightly like this one, how the bases do not face each other, but meet up at an angle in the center. I like it and will definitely decide to walk around this map later today or maybe tomorrow.
I mean like a picture of the whole map from the sky, so i can see how big the map is. just try to add some moar pictures, this looks really interesting. P.S. I recommend taking out he mancannons, they really turn a great map into a nooby one. the only time theyre good is when they take you upstairs, like a lift. and how about a weapon list please? EDIT: never mind, the cannons really fit in on the map, otherwise there would only be one way to each base, its just that small maps with mancannons mak CTF unfair
Oh yeah i got a screenshot like that for the thumbnail but idk why it didnt showed up. anyways here it goes: Although i wanted some advice, I only put respawn points in the bases, somewhat close to Narrows in H3. But some dude said that would only make the bases become a spawn killing area, if thats true i could easily put more spawn points in other parts but i Wanna be sure. Im gonna take a lot more pictures to show were the weapons are located and to give yo a better orientation.
