This is the Attrition map pack, which I've been working on for about 3 weeks to a month. All the maps (except bonus map #2) work with all gametypes except invasion and race. Just because they are compatible with the gametype doesn't mean it is suited for it though. I haven't really had time to test and fine tune these maps but they should work pretty well anyways.

I have linked to a file set on bungie.net with all the maps and gametype in there.

    Map #1: Aerospace

This canyon has been a battleground for generations.

Aerospace is set in the canyon, and is suited to big team styled gameplay.

    Weapons
    Human Weapons
    4 x DMR
    2 x Rocket Launcher
    2 x Sniper Rifle
    1 x Spartan laser
    4 x Frags

    Covenant Weapons
    2 x concussion rifle
    2 x needler
    4 x plasma

    Vehicles
    2 x banshee
    2 x ghost
    4 x mongoose
    4 x machine gun hog
    2 x wraith

    An overview of the base.

Ground floor of the base. 1 DMR and a health pack here.

Middle floor of the base. 2 plasma grenades in the outside doorway.

Top floor of the base. 1 Sniper rifle, 2 frags and 2 fusion coils.

Rear view of the base, showing the rest of the vehicle palette.

    Closeup of Banshee landing platform.

Mini base off to the side of main base. Rocket launcher on top.

    Middle of the map

Small bunker in the middle of the map - one on either side for each team. Houses 1 Concussion rifle.

Needler in foreground, Laser on the bottom platform of tower and health packs on the top left platform. neutral objectives (such as neutral bomb/CTF) spawn is on top middle platform.

Another angle of the main base, with a secondary bridge to top middle in foreground.

    Map #2: Anthrax

Secretive testing and covert-ops training is a regular occurrence. Also, Bingo on Fridays!

This map is built in the Coliseum, and its name comes from the odd shape in the middle.

    Weapons
    Human Weapons

    2 x DMR
    2 x Grenade Launcher
    1 x Rocket Launcher
    1 x Shotgun
    2 x Sniper Rifle
    6 x Frags

    Covenant Weapons

    2 x Needle Rifle
    6 x Plasma

    Startup screen

Middle of base - objectives capture/spawn point generally behind glass cover.

Interior of corner base - 1 Health pack and 1 DMR.

Exterior of corner base, with ramp to top and mancannon to middle structure.

Showing route from mancannon to top middle, and platform of the base in background.

On top middle there is a rocket launcher.

Bottom middle of map has a few walls for cover and 2 Needle Rifles, one either side of the wall.

Up the ramp at middle there is a shotgun to one side.

Opposite the corner base there is a mancannon up to an exposed, but elevated walkway.

Full view of walkway, showing sniper on bottom and 2 plasma grenades on top. There is a ramp on the mancannon side to get to the grenades.

    Map #3: Congestion

You cannot prevent and prepare for war at the same time.

My favourite map out of them all, congestion is another symmetrical map built on the Plateau above the coliseum. It is best played with 4 v 4 settings.

    Weapons
    Human Weapons

    6 x DMR
    1 x Rocket Launcher
    2 x Shotgun
    2 x Sniper rifle
    4 x Frags

    Covenant Weapons

    1 x Energy Sword
    4 x Plasma

    Startup screen

    View of base.

View of sniper spawn in the base.

Tunnels which occupy both sides of the map and stretch from end to end, with a gap in the middle.

View from one of the gaps, with sword spawn in the middle.

The mancannon lift up to top mid. The way you are propelled up the lift will mean you always land on top, unless you purposely force yourself back into the lift (moving in mid-air).

View of top middle, where Rockets spawn. They aren't in this picture as they are set to not spawn at start.

On top of the tunnels. There is a ramp on the left hand side tunnel to get on top, and a shotgun on the opposite end. There is no ramp on the right hand side because of a pre-determined kill zone on the red side. I decided to take out both rand-handed ramps otherwise blue team would have an unfair advantage.

I know what you're all thinking now: "Wouldn't it be awesome if we could play on all these maps at once in one huge BTB?"

Well, you can! Introducing Hierarchy, the first bonus map of my Map pack!

Hierarchy is a combination of all three previous maps, with a few pieces taken out and weapons reshuffled because of budget issues.

I recommend a full party to play this map on because it is so big, you will spend some time trying to find opponents if you don't have 16 players. Travel between areas is done with player only teleporters, so vehicles stay in the canyon (with a little help from death barriers)

    Bonus Map #1: Hierarchy

A now abandoned test facility, operation HIERARCHY covered all aspects of combat.

    Weapons
    Human Weapons
    2 x Assault Rifle
    4 x DMR
    2 x Grenade Launcher
    2 x Rocket Launcher
    2 x Shotgun
    2 x Sniper Rifle
    1 x Spartan Laser
    6 x Frags

    Covenant Weapons
    1 x Energy Sword
    1 x Gravity Hammer
    2 x Needle Rifle
    2 x Plasma Launcher
    2 x Plasma Pistol
    2 x Plasma Repeater
    2 x Spiker
    10 x Plasma

    Vehicles
    2 x Banshee
    2 x Ghost
    6 x Mongoose
    2 x Turret Hog
    2 x Rocket Hog
    2 x Wraith

    The familiar startup screen.

Aerospace, now missing a secondary walkway to top mid and the extra base to the side of the main base. The bunkers have moved into a more central position and are now occupied with rocket launchers.

The cover over the top of the lifts in Congestion have disappeared, and the ramps to the top of the tunnels are gone as well. If you want to put effort into getting on top of the tunnels you won't be restricted, but there's nothing worthwhile up there for you weapon/objective wise.

The corner base in Anthrax has no ramp to the top and no mancannon... There's a perfectly good reason though:

There is a giant divide between the map! each side of Anthrax acts as a 'base of operations' for each team. A teleporter to Congestion is in each teams cornerbase and another to Aerospace is on the opposite side.

    Bonus Map #2: Outback

This barn couldn’t keep up with technology.

Outback is the second bonus map, and was quite a late addition. It was created out of an idea for a gametype which I'll get onto later.

    Weapons
    Human Weapons
    1 x Assault Rifle
    4 x DMR
    1 x Grenade Launcher
    1 x Magnum
    3 x Shotgun ( 1 useable)
    1 x Sniper Rifle
    4 x frags

This map can only be played on infection and King of the Hill. Any infection gametype will work (although you might want to have weapon pickup disabled), but the KotH will need a specific gametype. This is because it is as close to 'The man with the Golden Gun' from Goldeneye (with some halo-esque tweaks) as I can get it without having the gametype itself, becuse KotH doesn't have points scoring settings :(.

You gain points for holding the magnum, and while holding it you can't pick weapons up, have unlimited ammo but still need to reload and Armour abilities are disabled for gun carrier. If I could I would make it kills only, but since KotH doesn't have a hill points option you only gain points from holding the gun.
Pictured: the best it can be made.

    Some more pictures:

    Infection Spawn cameras
For Infection I put the purple Special FX on to simulate night time.

    Inside the barn

    The toilet near the cave.

The front door to the flooded house. The canopy outside has collapsed as well, allowing people who correctly jump up it quick access to the second floor. There is a chair and plasma TV here, with an Assault rifle propped up beside it. The owner of the house was an avid golfer and his statue is in the corner as you enter, but be careful because the ball has become loose in the flooding...

The Kitchen. There is a table at one side of the room with a few chairs and a plate in the middle, the stove at the other end, the now ruined pile of coffee beans next to the stove and a clock on the wall.

The end of the hall, with falling down bookcases and an armchair.

A better view of the canopy, with the end broken and a second floor window smashed open that you can jump through.

The guest room, the room behind the open window. As you can see they have an economy value mattress: a rock.

The Luxury bedroom, with futuristic pull out bed(already pulled out) mirror, drawers and wardrobe.

The storage room. To the right of this picture is a ramp to the roof of the house, which holds a reactor on top with two pathways through it.

looks like you probably put a bit of work into this map only thing is. the screen shots look REALLY boring. non of them make your maps look interesting enough to get the download.

THe coolest looking one is definitely the last with the barn. These kind of remind me of the maps bungie gives us to play in forge world. Oh bungie...

anyways giving the barn one a download, looks cool

the last one looks like you put time into it. The other ones just looks like you connected a whole bunch of already made buildings together. If you want to make your map look good and interesting to play on, you have to make your own building, dont just depend on the made buildings, make your own.
    DLed the last one.
