I have created a weapon holder to solve the "fixed weapon glitch"

This weapon is set to normal physics

This plasma barrier has an invisible ledge on the bottom. Just turn it sideways, and phase it into your wall (just enough so the visible portion doesn't poke out of the wall). Then you will have an invisible ledge on which you can place your weapons. This costs $50

Note: You do not get caught up on it because the sides of the invisible portion are rounded.

You can also use them to hold weapons in the air. But they will cause a bump in your map so only use it this way in non-traffic areas.

If you prefer a visible and cheaper ($10) weapon holder, you can use the camping stool.

And here's a good way to fancy up them health packs!

    created using two small barricades

There is plenty more you can do using these invisible barriers (secret jumps!). If you have any other ideas, just shout em out!

That -is- quite a spiffy-looking healthpack. :) And nice find with the invisible ledge.

Unfortunately, this method only works if you're holding the weapon up on a completely flat wall. Have it curve inwards at all, and this won't work. Also, the holders take up a lot of space (relative to how much most people need), so no flat walls either.

    : (

CunnerGrunt, if aybody can find a way to get past this problem, it'd be you. Please, help me out (a lot) and try to figure out a way to solve these two remaining problems.

    : )

It will still work if the wall is curving inward (when does that even happen? =P). The invisible ledge gives you plenty of room to work with. But if you are working with a thinner wall, I'd try using that camping stool. If your wall in thinner than a stool, have the invisible barrier come up from the floor, creating a platform to stand your weapon on against the wall. I don't think a solution involves any other tools. But you may have to get fancy in how you use them. In you run into any special cases, just send me a VM and I'll help ya out

If you don't care too much about it being invisible, small railings work good for making small ledges on thin walls
