One day a crew of scientists set out to explore the ancient wonders of arctic forerunner technology. They stumbled upon a curious cave, one like they had never seen before. What were all these mysterious devices that were inside of this place? How could they have been created and used? Before they had time to think, suddenly one of them had sprung a trap. The walls closed in and every exit was blocked off. Then the floor dropped beneath their feet. A bottomless pit had been formed, killing half of their team. All that was left was for them to survive.... This map is designed with Touch-Return CTF in mind. Don't forget about the touch-return part, as the battles can get pretty hectic. Although this map is simple and easy to navigate, there are many routes to take: from the cannons, to the drop onto the platform, to the hornets. This map is as balanced and playable as possible, and I am sure it will create hours of fun. It is not only for touch-return CTF, though. All gametypes (except Juggernaut and VIP) are supported, and play very well. Just make sure that you have 8-12 players for the best experience. Good luck! wow, this map doesnt looks like you did hardly anything to it, and WAY to many power weapons in sucha small place, and TWO hornets in that little cave cumon, all you did was block off each side and put like two floating walls in the middle, which frankly i cant see affect the gameplay at all. how are you supposed to reach the one in the first pic? on top of that incendiary grendades arent really known for competetive gameplay. and a good backstory doesnt make a good map, good forging does, a backstory makes it interesting.
Man, that ice cave area is the new foundry! I don't have the new maps myself, but I like your map. A very good background story too. Keep it up!
i like the idea but this kind of thing has been used many tiems i would add more things to the map maybe a base or something it doesn't look that hard to get and capture the flag but i do like the hornets they re preety cool and funny

eek no advertising, and also to those who have been, no flaming! anyways, if i may...this map could use a lot more filling in, otherwise, if this is what you were really going for, understandable, but it should be in the casual map section
You can do a lot more with the space. Matty, others, and I have used this area to make cool maps. To forge is to make your own creation out of what Bungie has so kindly given us; not to let Bungie do all the work and call it our own. ;D Also, too many power weapons (someone may have already said this). I can't really observe anything that stands ou in this map. I mean, I jus think you should add something else and new that no one else has done to give it some "zing'.
Don't take it badly, it is great for an early post. It is just over time you will learn more about forge and make better and better maps, everyone starts off a little slow.
this isnt very original, as you probably know, every one made these on the first night. ALthough, I dont think I saw a CTF one, I made but I didn't post it. I like the story. And also as lond as you have respawn points, it supports Juggernaut, not mad dash though
