Amazing Halo Reach Player

Just because he got 33 kills on a swat game doesn't mean he's the best reach player. I'm not saying that I'm better than him(which I'm probably not.) Besides, this video is just all over the place and doesn't really show me the gameplay.

 

Not impressed. I do that good in SWAT almost all the time. SWAT is easy ****.

I agree, it's a good game but nothing I haven't done myself on occasion, and I'm distinctly average in terms of real Halo skill. But you're just talking bullshit there, dude. Plethora of Bungie.net links or it didn't happen.

OP: As I said, an impressive performance no doubt, but the fact that he can get to 18 kills before his team mates get one is an indicator of the main factor here: his team mates are awful so he's free to get as many kills as he can. Also, why is the vast majority of that video him hiding in a corner/walking around without shooting/deathscreen? I actually found it much less impressive than I would have had it been just a plain video of the game or even a simple stat page.

 

Sorry, I could only watch the first 20 seconds of that video because it was so horribly edited. I'm going to have to take other peoples' word for how not-so-great he is.

30 kills in SWAT? Its not unheard of. Not that amazing really.

 

Yes, actually I usually do. I'm good at SWAT. It's pretty simple really, my average is 20 at least.

As I said, Bungie links or it didn't happen. Also, I get 15-20 in most games of SWAT, simply because most people in the playlist are awful. That's not the same as getting >30 kills 'almost all the time.'

EDIT: ^, need I say more? I'm not trying to talk smack here, I just get enough of people talking themselves up without any evidence on the MLG forums, can't really be assed to put up with it here too.

 

Yeah, now it looks like that because of the new playlist updates. Back when they were in team slayer matchmaking I did better. I haven't played SWAT lately because of the playlist change.

I mean think about that, I've only play 4 games of SWAT ever? Don't think so.

I actually provided that link because it only showed SWAT matches, but I viewed the Competitive tab to give you the benefit of the doubt... and to be honest, it wasn't much better. I ran through about 20 SWAT games. I saw one game with 21 kills... and I saw a game where you only had 5 kills. That indicates to me that you're nowhere near the "20" average you're boasting about.

 

I remember the days when we had a Video Section, good times, we used it to post videos.

 

In the first 3 pages of your TS history I found one game of SWAT where you got 20 kills, everything else was less than that with an average of around 15 at best.

 

Fine, 10-15 average, I can't be amazing all the time, if I could then I would play professionally. Point is SWAT is simple. You see a person, you zoom, shoot face, ?????, profit. If you want to die less get in an area were people don't look often and shoot from there for a while then move somewhere else. I'm glad I don't have to play SWAT all the time now though, cause that's what everyone would vote for in TS.

 

Like I said, 15 average is good, not gonna claim I'm any better cause I sure as hell ain't. I just tend to call bullshit when I see it.

I agree with completely. One great game of SWAT as demonstrated in the OP (though with how few actual kills are shown in the vid I've still got this feeling of 'troll-vid' lurking in the back of my mind) does not show an amazing player. SWAT gives no opportunity to out-DMR opponents because by definition you cannot come back from shots down unless your opponent is just missing/spamming, and there's no variation in weapons, let alone in depth strategy or anything beyond 'camp for a bit, move on' like you said. Also agreed on the separate SWAT playlist being the best thing since sliced bread so I don't have to play it every time it comes up. I was genuinely depressed when, on the first day of the new SWAT playlist, it had literally DOUBLE the population of TS which has been the staple Halo playlist for God knows how long.

 

Here's a game of me going 36-5 on The Cage TS and another another with me going 34-0 on Swordbase TS. Hell I have a video on my fileshare where I went 64-8 on FFA oddball. Some games just go that way, doesn't make me anywhere near the greatest, just ask Shad0w about the 1v1 we did lol.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be interested to watch that game if you cap it, since watching someone destroy awful players can be entertaining. People weren't really complaining, just saying that the title is a bit extravagant.

In all honesty, we could have avoided this whole thing if Juggernaut didn't talk about how good he is. And NOW we have to listen to Pegasi talk about how awesome he is.

So I think it's fair that I brag about the game where I went -16.

Just look at how awesome I am! I didn't even have to do ANYTHING except change my batteries VERY slowly.



As for the guy, it's alright. It does take talent to do that. Even against guys who suck. Unless they suck REALLY bad.
