    [IMG]Description:
Nimbus Cumulo is a symmetrical aerial map anchored at it's lowest point to the peak of a mountain. It was designed primarily for team objective games, I think it would also work well for Team Slayer/Team Slayer DMRs (although in Slayer DMRs I would suggest setting the vehicles to "Map Default"). There are three main paths between the two bases: one is the central path with man cannons that goes down through the lowest point of the map (the "Green Room") and has access to the two floating towers via vertical vehicle cannons and teleporters in the Green Room, and the other two are bridges on either side (which are connected to the bases via teleporters), one with powerful weapon spawns (sniper rifles, spartan laser) and the other with two Falcons. The two floating towers offer great vantage points for sniping, but have blind spots that prevent them from controlling the entire map. Two safety nets in the form of one-way shields provide the only safe way down from the floating towers.

    Weapons:
    DMR
    Needle Rifle
    Needler
    Assault Rifle
    Plasma Repeater
    Plasma Pistol
    Sniper Rifle
    Shotgun
    Gravity Hammer
    Rocket Launcher
    Grenade Launcher
    Spartan Laser

    Vehicles:
    Mongoose
    Falcon

Red Base. Like Blue Base, but red. You can see the two teleporters that connect to the bridges jutting off of the back of the base in this picture.

The main entrance to one of the floating towers.

The Green Room, the lowest point on the map.

your post is not up to date. according to the rules it is REQUIRED that you have at least one picture or video of your map embedded in your post. if you are having trouble with embedding screenshots, please see this forum. if you do not fix your thread it will be locked within 24 hours.

Looks like a nice map dude. Reminds me of Bespin Platforms from Star Wars Battlefront. esp. the Green Room

Thanks. I never played Battlefront, but after I built it I noticed that it reminded me of Coud City.

well, very interesting concept. this map definetly seems like it is for a lot of people. EX(5v5) nice hovering platforms. a lot of things people forget to do on there maps is the kill zones. i havent checked, but make sure you add those kill zones! especially on the island that is below. someone could easily jet pack down there

All spawns, safe zones, kill zones, and objectives are placed. I'm hoping to submit this to the forgetacular contest as a CTF map, but I need a saved film of it being played first, and I can never seem to get enough friends online at the same time...
